Neil Bush was in charge of exactly what?Originally posted by Bible_Belt
And Neil Bush was in charge of security.
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

And Neil Bush was in charge of security.
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
That's quite a stretch to say that the Bush family fortune came from trading with Nazi's.Originally posted by Bible_Belt
whoops, Marvin Bush, not Neal. Marvin was a principal in the now-defunct Stratesec, Inc. which had the security contract for the World Trade Center.
And you do know that the Bush family fortune came from Grandpa Prescott's trading with the Nazis, right? That's not a theory. Congress had to pass the Trading with the Enemy Act to get Prescott to stop selling raw materials to the Nazis even after the US joined WWII.

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

still doesn't answer the questions i proposed.
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
Are you actually serious? :crackup:Originally posted by Kaptain

This act was suspected to have been performed by a stable, democraticaly elected government.

Again, do some research before jumping to such wild conclusions.

"documents from The National Archives and Library of Congress confirm that Bush and his partners continued their Nazi dealings unabated. These activities included a financial relationship with the German city of Hanover and several industrial concerns. They went undetected by investigators until after World War Two."
If you want to debate about the democratic elements of Nazi politics and society, send me a PM. Nazi Germany was the focus of my history minor, so I'd be happy to quibble over the facts.Originally posted by Bible_Belt
uhhh, the Nazis weren't exactly a democracy..
They kinda were. There was voting involved. There has never been a country that is a true democracy. The US is a "representative republic."

On March 23, the newly elected Reichstag met in the Kroll Opera House in Berlin to consider passing Hitler's Enabling Act. It was officially called the "Law for Removing the Distress of the People and the Reich." If passed, it would in effect vote democracy out of existence in Germany and establish the legal dictatorship of Adolf Hitler.
The vote was taken - 441 for, and only 84, the Social Democrats, against

My point was, the chances of a stable, modern first-world democracy (ie. the US) killing 3000 of their own people, for very little gain and at a high risk, would be unlikely.

How about sourcing those claims?Originally posted by toddC
If you watch the video it will raise your eyebrow's trust me. I'm not someone who is ANTI bush. I LOST a dear dear loved one in the world trade center and seeing this video just made me feel terrible. Exactly how can someones video camera shake exactly 9 seconds before a crash and a peice of debry fall of the top WITHOUT a bomg going off. Why for the first time were certain floors doing certain drills (that they've never done before) up to a week and a half before the attacks? And why wre bomb sniffing dogs removed from the world trade center? All this BEFORE the attacks, just coincidence?
i wouldn't say all conspiracy theories....Originally posted by Derek Flint
Again, the Popular Mechanic's article Swiss-Cheeses all the 9-11 conspiracy theories, not to mention, those theories don't pass the logic test either.
but it does makes sense logically: uf you wanted to rid yourself of both hussien and al-qaueda it is logical to do them in turn and not to split your attention between the two targets. ie. eliminate the uncontained and more mobile bin laden then focus on hussien holded up in iraq.Originally posted by Derek Flint
One more thing: Why not blame Hussien instead of the then-mostly unknown Al-Qaueda and Osama Bin Laden?
Again, doesn't pass the logic test.
You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
