I'm 5'6 and ~150 lbs. So the average woman is a little bit shorter than me but 15 lbs heavierYeah thats bad.
That really limits the amount of available woman simply because I won't go after a girl who weighs more than I do.
You must be smoking some serious funky stuff!! Props to you if you are happy with what you see and where you are at. That is all that should matter for you. I just think that most guys wouldn't agree with you. 5'4" and 125 pounds is obese as far as I am concerned. I haven't spent much time in Germany, but I didn't really find them to be manly. Tons of Turks there these days. I just remember thinking that the entire place was going Turkish. I thought that German girls looked a bit like American girls did back in the 80's. Not bad, but nothing amazing. I find Germans to be really happy people. At least compared to many other groups of Europeans. Not as happy as the Scandanavians though. Those people are spooky happy. I would say that German girls are better looking than Italians, French, or Spanish. Of course, Poland and Czech Republic are next door to Germany. Both of those countries easily outpace Germany for beauty. The farther east you head in Europe the better things get for you.kabatura said:This shocked me when I first saw it. I can guess a girls weight between 100-125 pounds but over that i'm no good. 165 seemed really high to me because on a really short girl, like 5-4 125 can be sort of fat. Oh well, there are still beautiful skinny girls in America.
And Dutch? I've never been to the Netherlands but i've known a couple of girls from there and they just weren't pretty. Same with Germany, the girls I've met from there all seemed very manly. I guess I just need to visit so I can have a realistic perspective.

They said on the news last night that 5'4" and 165lbs is the average height and weight for an American woman now.
Little fat midget girls in America now

BMI of 25 is obese. But BMI is a weak measurement. It factors in weight, not body fat %.azanon said:Women tend to have less muscle mass, and muscle weights more than fat, so one has to be a bit careful at identifying attractive weights.
With my wife at 5'8", 130, those stats would sound really small (including the weight part) if we were talking about a man. But when I look at her, she has a nice round, and plump ass and great shoulders.
What i'm saying is weight is a bit deceiving with women because all that softness they have takes up space but it doesn't weight as much. She's toned even too cause she works out most days, but even a toned women still doesn't have near the muscle mass that the average man does.
In short, I'm ok with men having a BMI at 25, maybe even a 26-27 if they're working out, but for women, I'd personally not want much above 22 BMI unless she's really into body building and has quite a bit of muscle mass to account for the extra weight.
The BMI scale is just fine. Bodybuilders seldom remember to use the waist to hip ratio in their BMI calculations. There's a huge difference in the waist size of someone with 14% bodyfat and somone who has 25% or more.AgonyUncle said:BMI of 25 is obese. But BMI is a weak measurement. Im a musclehead. According to the BMI rating, I am obese. I have 14% body fat at the moment.

What's considered healthy across the board is a ratio of .8 for women and .9 for men no matter how much you weigh. Anything 1 or above typically means that the person could have a health risk especially if their waist size is much greater than 35".Being_the_Don said:Such as? I'm still trying to figure it out. My waist size is 31"-32" and my bodyfat is around 9%-10% but I don't trust the BF measurements.
