"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Okay, this is a severe case of oneitis, but I'm mad about the girl. All her female friends say she really likes me, and would not keep in touch with a guy she did not like. Also, she has specificaly told them that she likes me. I just cannot get things to progress futher than hugging and kissing on the cheek friends! Help!!

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Umm.. did you ask her out? How did that go?

If she's not letting things advance, act aloof, ask others out, and let her know about it.

I asked her out about 3 years ago, she was seeing another guy at the time, so obviously did not go too well. Have been to scared to ask her out since then.

Also, I've told her I've been on dates with other girls, which I have. However, I don't think this made much difference. (she is definatly a HB10++++)

I think you know the answer to this one.

Hint: it begins with 'n' and ends with 'ext'.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I know its hard man, but the title of the thread speaks for itsself, 4 years!!

Just ask her tomorrow, straight up, will you go out with me? no games, no lines nothing, if she yes then cool, if she says no then at least you know for sure and can get over it.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

The thing is, even if she does say no. I KNOW she likes me. So whether I ask and get a no, or don't ask and fuss about it, I loose.

Look man... if you KNOW she likes you, play straight:

"Look, it's clear that you really like me. It's stupid to make things complicated, specially between you and me, we have known each other for 4 years and we can read each other out. Let's stop pretending and start enjoying."

Something on those lines. Also try to make her clear that this is her only chance to go out with you for real. You don't have to tell her that directly, but insinuate it with your attitude. You must look like "I'm the one brave enough to say what we both think and you won't have this chance again as if you say no you'll be the one who will be sorry later."

And that will be it, if she say no. If she say no, you don't have anything to be sorry about, you did your best, you told her directly, she said no. It's her fault, not yours. Move along, next target. It's very possible than in a couple of days she'll return to you.

Now your talking, she says things like "since the last few months I love how your more confident..."
Whereby she says she wants to go to a certain place for dinner, but I want to go to another. I still give in to her, but I act ****ey about it, which she likes.
She tells me when she is pissed off with me, for example, when I ask her whether she got home okay after a night of clubbing, or I tell her how much I care about her in front of her friends. Of course her friends do not care and think it is noble of me, but she hates it.

Also, when she's said things like don't say that, I say, "Sure I'd be embaressed to say that to anyone else, but its us"

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Ever heard the quote "every shot you don't take is one you miss" ? By not busting a move you are not giving her the opportunity to say YES.

so why let it go another 4 years and never know. just do it man, if she says no, then itll never happen. Doesnt matter if she likes you or not. Most likely you are in the friends zone. Ive had a lot of girls like me as friends, but it never goes past that. You need to lay it all on the line, and be prepared to next this chick if she says no. But still be her friend, and like i say, if she doesnt want you, have her hook you up with her friends, bang her friends, and itll come back to her that your a great guy and whatever, and she'll regret saying no. Never know, 4 years from now she might come around. grab your balls and go for it.

Styleman, it's obvious you're not going to do anything. Then along will come a guy like me who will start banging her before you finally got the cojones to do something.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
