I answered her questioning if I knew this "lively" spot, which she had asked if I knew and would be a good spot to go with our friends, with "Yeah, I know some spots" - but without going into the merits of whether I would go or not.

From then on, the subject changed, we talked about other random things. I started to do some playful text messaging with her. For example, I sent her an audio of me playing drums and asked her to guess what the song was. That kind of thing.

P.S.: I rarely do that. I like to chat only to work out logistical things. But I thought "F*ck it. I feel good about this girl. I'll build rapport and see how it goes."

Apparently, it went wrong. I texted her "I want to see you this week" and then the chick just went ghost. WTF.

OP, I think you were jumping through hoops to keep the attraction going like playing the drums and sending it to her. It might sound playful, but she sees it as a simp move to keep her attention. If she doesn’t have high interest, it’s just adding to the reasons to ghost you.
Her proposal to meet up with her friends sounds innocent enough, I would have went and showed them a fun time. Create some chaos by playfully flirting with her friends subtly, but don’t be a player.
Chicks love their emotions imbalanced, they thrive off it. Trying to send texts to be playful is extremely counter-productive as you have learned the hard way. They got the validation they need from you, they think they got you by the balls, the fun is over and on to the next one to emasculate for them

I think this girl might see OP as viewing her as a 2nd option, he didn't communicate for a couple of days and now she may think he's over doing it, kinda like when we talk about a girl being hot/cold because some other dude was in the picture.

I think OP is in Brazil too, that kinda changes things imo since it's a social/party country and also Catholic. It wasn't the best scenario, but maybe what she was trying to do is more socially accepted (hanging out in big groups, taking things slower sexually) over there

You tell her you’re busy this weekend and then you find a day for you, time and activity next week that works and you counter with that. From experience I will tell you do not get in a pattern of giving her weekends early on. It’s tough to unwind.
