al77, I totally know where you are coming from, you don't want a ho/barfly. This makes sense to me.

But I can honestly say I 've actually met 'some' decent chicks at bars that were 25 and over. They were decent to mess around w/ but I don't really let any of em get too close, I don't care where I met them. ( as kids are likely)Not yet anyway, maybe a few years down the road. I'm much happier staying single for now.

If you are hunting for a wife, perhaps look in church. JMHO.

I agree with you about bars: there could be decent chicks. The problem is with bars, not with chicks: they are drunk, you are drunk and due to image associated with bars they probably have one of two things in mind: just flirting or ONS.
That's not what I really want from women.

The bar chick I was talking about had a wonderful profile that states directly
"....I am also told that I am a pretty decent cook. Family and friends are the most important part of my life but I am looking for a relationship with the right person that might lead to marriage".

Gee... I thought "she thinks about herself as a marriage material, lets find out....." and I find out that she starts her self-presentation from her love to bars... in next letter she said basically "sorry I am drunk now...can't come up with anything".
Really WTF? Just my rant about unmasked lies.......

Church? Hmm.. if they have time for meeting people, I would definitely check that out: at least quality should be better.
But there you pray 99% of the time and then is supposed to move to your car...why dont they drink together? Oh wait.. it would be like in bars then :)
