"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I broke up with my ex about a year ago, had pretty bad oneitis, after we broke up, got pretty depressed. But its true, that time heals everything, i wheeled other girls. I thought of her from time to time. Anyways I didn't see her for 8 months. We talked about getting together, on friendly basis a couple of time , but it never happened. Well we had more contact lately, and we finally hung out. We were both a couple beers deep, but it felt like absolutely nothing had changed. It felt like we were back together again. We ended up making out on my bed...Anyways we made plans that night, to hang out the next 2 nights, but she flaked on both of them...How should i approach this, assuming my goal is to get back together with her...Should i act disinterested, and make her iniate the next get together?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

make her initiate the next get together, if she doesnt seem interested at all its not worth it, she possibly might just want to hook up with you from time to time but this is a tricky one, depends on how long you guys dated, if it was for a long time (i.e. 1 year or more) then there could be a chance, if not your going to have to observe if she is interested or not

1. She flaked because she let herself fall for you, (and you should know how much of a nono that is for a girl), so at the moment, she's honestly all fuggled up over you. If you still can talk to her (by phone or what not), the number one thing NOT TO DO is to bring it up again. Rather, be aloof, fluff her up, flirt/tease mildly again, and [Keyword] 'invite' her to do something. That means "Hey, I was heading out to do...___, and I was just wondering if you'd like to tag along". She declines, dont' worry about it, she joins in, you got yourself a little date again.

2. No, perfectly fine ;)
