"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I'm seeing a lot of conflicting opinions on how long you keep the first date.

Some people say you should always escalate a first date to sex each time, then pick up on 2nd date where you left off.

Others are in the "keep them wanting more" boat saying 1-2 hours, then call it a day/night.

I myself only meet after work or in the evening - sets a more romantic tone, easier to escalate to sex, and it's always at a bar or drinking place.

My date on Saturday was from about 9pm until 2am, put her in a cab and she went home I met a friend and carried on.

I usually go with the flow and aim to go back to there or bring them to mine, it doesn't always happen. I'm thinking to try the set time routine (couple hours) in hopes on 2nd date sex, my problem is me and my date always end up drunk and it turns into a long night. I know if looking for a LTR short and sweet is probably best, but that's quite boring to me.

What do you do or what is your routine/game plan?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

you escalate to sex as soon as the scenario is comfortable to do so... If its on the first date...Brilliant,

A mans job is to Have a good time and have sex

As soon as you have passionate sex with a woman the polarities change and the morning after she should be chasing you, if she believes there is an LTR

its magical youll barely have to initiate anything ONCE youve put your dck in shes INVESTED

But do you make a time limit on the first date before you've had it or go with the flow? It sounds like you go with the flow.

Go with the flow to a degree but there is no way in hell I'm getting drunk on a first date.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
