1 month No Shaving: Experiences, Support, General Comments

Well...the title is sort of a joke, but I do mean it.

I'm not going to shave for a month. Just for kicks really. Besides, I also get tired of people thinking/saying I look 17 when I'm actually 22. Just the other day, Friday, I was talking to the two chicks at work...

girl: so you're gonna party it up this weekend?
me: actually, yeah, i might hit up some clubs
girl: wait...how old are you?
me: i'm 22
girl: ... you're 22?? ... (very blank stare on her face)
other girl: c-legs, you're 22??? (sounding surprised)

Story of my life. Happens about once a week. I know there's other guys like me that this happens to.

I was also somewhat inspired by the "Pointification of the Week" thread, and by my own curiousity.

Rules:

• Cutting hair or trimming down under doesn't count.
• You can trim your beard/mustache just so it doesn't look horrendous. But you can't cut it shorter...only trimming is allowed.

I'm talking the face basically. It is tempting to shave because everyone freaking does it, but I get tired of the clean shaven look all the time.

Please join me in this voyage to looking more manly.

We should all end up looking like Adam Morrisson pretty soon (the college bball player with a mustache, for those of you who don't watch NCAA).

I'm serious, this thread isn't a joke. I dare you to join me in this.

I already haven't shaved in 2 days, so I'm past the Adam Morrisson look...the countdown officially starts now, July 9, 2006. The date of completion is August 9, 2006.

Wash well, because beards and beign unshaven can give you scabby/dry skin under there, I know I do.

Anyway, I always liked the chin strap look when it comes to beards. For me it's hard to just let it it grow cus I have such thick facial hair. I used to have a beard but i shaved it off cus it was easier to deal with. Grooming beards can be annoying.

Are you gay? Trimming is one thing, but shaving is pushing it. Why dont you shave your arms and legs while youre at it.

Not exactly. No, im saying if you shave your arm pits then thats a little fruity. If they have a reason to shave then its fine. Its kinda weird to completely shave your pits bro.

A friend of mine used to have a beard. We would make fun of how he looked like a member of the taliban even though he's half white half black. Then he shaved the beard and just grew out his mustache until a girl said he looked like Mario (aka "the Italian") lmao

I'm too fvcking lazy to type it twice.

I don't have any hair on the top of my dome (to fvck nature) and usually keep my facial stuff trimmed low. Not for societal obligation or fvcking approval but for the fact that I don't want pvssy juice slathered all over my beard looking like day old egg whites on my mush.

That is the ONLY reason I don't have a Grizzly Adams style beard.

Okay, it's been a few days, and I have a little mustouche now. I pretty much have a goatee, except the sides haven't grown in as much. My side burns are growing out a bit too. It's a little tempting to shave it, but I'm still going strong. As far as my job goes, I think it would be fine as long I keep it nice and trim.

Ironically Jim Morrison actually didn't sport much facial hair even though he did have long hair. But nice try

I shaved yesterday, and now they card me for cigarettes again... i think i look stupid and ridiculous. It works for most people, but not me.
