No, it would stop most of the BS.

As I said there really is not a way to reverse it that is going to work very often.

If you had no choice but to correct it you have one year to do it what would you do? Cheating, ignoring her and some verbal abuse are ok to use. What process to restore respect ?

True. But people also change as a relationship develops. That's the trouble. The dynamic you start out with may not be the entrenched dynamic you end up with. Reversing an entrenched dynamic is much harder than making the right first impression. The frog in the pot is an accurate metaphor in many cases.
