"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

You've essentially been asking(albeit not directly and explicitly):
"Are male model looks all that's required to snag cooter?"

And I've more than once replied:
"Nope... Looks are only one weapon in a fella's arsenal"

There's nothing either myself or anyone else can say that'll convince you otherwise, hombre. Your current thought process is the male equivalent of chicks believing: "If my A Cups become Double Ds tommorow, men would be lusting after me more fiercely than they do Sydney Sweeny, even though I've declared a moratorium on shaving my underarms, and believe Pauly Shore the pinnacle of comedic brilliance"
This.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

no , ‘are male model looks all that is required ’ is was never my assertion.

Female attraction is primarily Looks based is my assertion. His Looks & Status (assessed via a guys ‘’Look” / thin slice.. in a few seconds)

And that a guys ‘game’ …in his conversation/personality plays a very minimal role in his getting with a woman initially.

For the early stages of any relationship (assuming they get together quickly)

That’s what I’ve been saying.

Plus - pointing out that the members of this forum. For the majority… underrate guys looks on the 1/10 scale …thereby Downplaying the Looks factor in how they actually got women.

that’s my acfual position and opinion.
As a very experienced guy with women .

Continue on thinking and behaving as you have then. Your prospects for greater success with the ladies than you currently enjoy are mightier than those of the upstart gangster, who really believes that speaking and acting just like Joe Pesci in RL* is a surefire path towards becoming the kingpin some day

A common phrase you see everywhere now in regards to cold approach is that you have to meet her personal 'looks threshold' if you want a romantic chance with her. Without meeting it, your ability to flirt isn't relevant to her. If that's all you're essentially saying, I don't think that's contentious tbh

Guys really struggle to rate other guys on looks, if only because guys look at other guys by the metrics that they would use to rate women. Except women are looking at completely different things in what they consider attractive than a guy would think.

This was highlighted most with my late wife, I got that "gigachad" filter as a joke and pushed that as the ideal version of my look. Think the squarest of jawlines, and facial angles that look like they could cut glass. She really didn't grasp why I saw that as some ideal.

Point being; whatever a guy might rate another guy has little connection with how women would rate that guy.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

not quite sure how this could be the case mate.
As men don’t generally look like women ya know.
We don’t have hourglass figures. tits and nice peachy asses?
And the other obvious differences of the face and hair.
Makes no sense this statement tbh.

Seems to be the case on this forum.

that’s a more concise way of saying it yeah.
The part I am trying to debug in my own game currently is this ‘oersonality’ assessment bit. That next bit that comes after a dude passes the looks threshold and her first screen.

that bit I would argue is not ‘personality’ per se.
It’s a dudes status on the totem pole of ‘Alphaness’.
His belief of entitlement and his power frame.

IMO This is the ‘feeling’ that amplifies her attraction and desire ..and seals the deal for a guy to get the chick into bed.. it’s the ‘feeling’ that he is above her.

and actually ..that he doesn’t care that much about her . He’s ‘IDGAF ‘ about her. And is superior . That puts her in the chaser frame, which is where she wants to be ‘feelings’ wise.

I don’t think all of the above equates to ‘personality’. It’s moreso she feels he has Power. (High status)

it’s moreso a power dynamic thing.

And I reckon this can be set up with a game strategy and key behaviours in the first few minutes.

that’s my thoughts.
@BaronOfHair fyi on above also.
Ironically, you’re not far off with your Pesci /Goodfellas analogy actually. :D
But I’m stating the exact opposite of your opinion re the success of that kind of persona ;)

You may find a gal or two who finds a man who feign curiosity, then desperately attempts to prove everyone who challenges his pre-existing beliefs "wrong" to be extremely sexy

Same way there are probably at least a couple of viewers out there who deem Hilary Duff "The 21st century's most underrated thespian"

Yes, men don't generally look like women or vice versa. So, men will look at a woman's facial features for features that express youth, fertility, and general health. Then if asked to rate a man on looks will tend to try to take those features in how they would assess a man's looks, where women might look to features that show strength, confidence, or power (whatever the actual list would be is less important, other than to note the list is different).

Clooney is a fair example; just going off of the wiki photo, since that was the top search result, I would probably rate him as somewhere around 7-8, better than average looks. However, clearly when women look at him they are rating him as exceptionally good looking and so, from a female perspective must be getting rated somewhere between 8-10...

The other factor to consider is that when men rate women, it usually falls in a bell curve distribution where most get rated around average. Women rate men typically in an inverse bell curve, as in moat are rated 1-3 or 8-10 with very few landing in the average range.
