aren't you Latino yourself? You should realize by now that food is the way to the soul when it comes to certain culture. Nothing like being a smooth mofo and knowing what to do when you get served a certain dish and knowing how to prepare the condiments and ingredients and gather them all up together etc. These types of things not only build rapport, not just with her but with her family and friends. Im thinking in terms of relationships here long term wise.
Building rapport with her family has nothing to do with creating sexual attraction. Don't confuse being culturally accepted with being sexually desired.
