"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Yes, a cartoon for kids; Still a masterpiece though. These guys were supposed to release a movie, and it leaked online; thats kind of been weighing on me because I have so many fond memories from this frachise.

I watched the movie because FOMO but I still plan to fully support it when it officially releases; I have always been a a big believer of voting with the wallet. Anyways, I wanted to do something positive and posting some quotes seems like a good start.

On Life and Hope
  • "In the darkest times, hope is something you give yourself. That is the meaning of inner strength."
  • "Sometimes life is like a dark tunnel. You can't always see the light at the end of the tunnel, but if you just keep moving... you will come to a better place."
  • "Even in the material world, you will find that if you look for the light, you can often find it. But if you look for the dark, that is all you will ever see."
  • "While it is always best to believe in oneself, a little help from others can be a great blessing."

On Growth and Wisdom
  • "It is important to draw wisdom from many different places. If you take it from only one place, it becomes rigid and stale."
  • "Failure is only the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently."
  • "Pride is not the opposite of shame, but its source."
  • "True humility is the only antidote to shame."

On Self-Discovery and Choices
  • "It's time for you to look inward and begin asking yourself the big question: who are you and what do you want?"
  • "Sometimes, the best way to solve your own problems is to help someone else."
  • "Destiny is a funny thing. You never know how things are going to work out. But if you keep an open mind and an open heart, I promise you will find your own destiny."
  • "Follow your passion, and life will reward you."

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

"Destiny is a funny thing. You never know how things are going to work out. But if you keep an open mind and an open heart, I promise you will find your own destiny."

I love this one specifically.

There are countless examples of people who started with nothing, all odds against them and yet they've managed to become successful and wealthy.

The trick and trickY part about life is making the right adjustments at the right moments...our ego oftentimes is a echo from the past.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
