So...what's the deal?

Has anybody here ever attended this festival? From what I understand, it's just a giant overpriced music festival in California where every influencer and OnlyFans model spends thousands on new outfits they can wear for every day of the week and post about on Instagram.

I don't think I'd ever scrape together the money to go, but I'm curious if it's a good place to meet women and hook up, or if everybody is just self-absorbed and posing for social media.

It seems that way, right?

But where are you going to take them? Everybody gets AirBNBs, and they're all out in the middle of the desert...sweaty...dehydrated...probably drunk and/or on drugs. There's nowhere private. I'm sure you could get some makeouts and phone numbers, but I don't see how anybody would realistically close.

It reminds me of the Ultra Festival in Miami, but for socialites.

From the music festivals I’ve been to, like Veld Music Festival in Toronto, you basically book a hotel with your friends, go together, meet people, get numbers, and then leave with your friends. Sometimes your friends bring their girlfriends, and their girlfriends bring their friends.

Yeah, it probably depends a lot on what/where you book. I’d have to do more research

Ultra seems like it should be possible to pull from. You could book a spot with good logistics.

Bump, I ended up going to Breakaway in ATL while staying with my sister. While I didn’t do as many approaches as I’d like(hit around 10), the volume was insane and you’ve got tons of hot girls to talk to, a lot wearing almost nothing. And this is a smaller festival.
