In ONE sense, that real life version of Jax Teller whom The Prom Queen chooses over the accountant HAS established "high value", compared to his (pseudo)competitor:

-He's infinitely more electrifying company

-He's more than capable of handling himself in a conflict, by extension has communicated that he can defend her also

-He's risen up in the world, by becoming President of his MC. We can gripe about how beneficial such organizations are to our society. Fact is though, dude's become The Big Cheese in an organization that's raking in millions/perhaps over a billion per year, in a world filled mostly with wannabes who are desperate for SOMEONE ELSE to come lead THEM

Bringing this back around to the subject of this thread:

The Trad Wife fantasy ignores the fine print of reality... Many, if not most, men stall out pretty early in life, end up being permanent middle managers or less, who's ambition and hobbies don't extend very far beyond binge watching In The Heat Of The Night re-runs and endlessly groaning over all the ways immigrants/The New World Order/Feminists robbed them of their shot at greatness. Thus, most men WILL NOT be able to keep a Trad Wife they snagged in their early 20s. These gals are still human, and no less prone to growing dissatisfied, then trading up than the rest of us are
