I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

That makes no sense.

Then every actress who did a sex scene would have their child taken away. Margot Robbie‘s son is next?

If we're serious about making shared parenting in the event of divorce the law of the land, the case for us abandoning The MRA strategy(Presenting this as a gendered problem, as opposed to an American one)grows stronger and stronger with each passing day

Yeah, that’s a solid point. Framing it as an American family court issue instead of just a gendered one could make the conversation more productive. The system has flaws that affect both mothers and fathers depending on the situation, so pushing for broader reform around shared parenting might actually get more traction.

Beyond that, we can start amassing widespread public support for policy reform by connecting these topics to the economy and crime control. Protracted litigation in family court costs taxpayers millions each year, and kids without fathers who are modeling pro-social behavior are 800 times more likely to become the gang bangers who are carjacking you in the CVS parking lot

Sadly, I've noticed in my own dealings with MRAs, that they're extremely resistant to using a strategy along these lines, and remain convinced that they're succeeding. That's what happens, when you build your entire identity around being a defender of a special interest

That, and "men's rights" are going to be an increasingly tough sell, in an ers where "human rights" themselves are proving increasingly untenable https://www.theguardian.com/news/2014/dec/04/-sp-case-against-human-rights
