I think this forum is more underground yet heavily viewed and I'd prefer it to be that way right now. I think the people who found this forum is suppose to be here and here for a reason, we don't need sosuave to be overloaded like Plenty of Fish.com or reddit. But I'm open for this site to expand just in case it happens someday.

Ay, Sosuave's Bible is more connected with 90s PC and proliferate office/suburb/Disney culture than with modern manosphere content. While the tenets are timeless, a lot of the language is probably outdated.

It was basically for Gen Xers who went out into a world that was supposedly sexually liberated, but fraught with new norms and threats.

I don’t think SoSuave caters to the manosphere per se, but there’s clear overlap; some members embody its mindset: projecting fantasies onto women, blaming them when nothing materializes, and expressing frustration rooted in entitlement for things they do not deserve. This isn’t unique to today’s manosphere either; many men, historically and now, simply don’t like women as people.

I’d say there are websites that explicitly cater to that mindset, but this isn’t one of them. SoSuave leans more toward PUA, which was the foundation of what later became the broader manosphere. The common thread is male insecurity dressed up as strategy.

SS predates the “manosphere” as it’s referenced today - but it’s part of the backbone of what makes up said manosphere. Guys like Rollo started here and he’s a major player in the visible scene now. So I’d say they’re deeply connected.

This place isn’t as connected to black pill or MGTOW as the “manosphere” is, and that’s a good thing.

Life was a hell of a lot simpler when we weren't emulating not just Feminism and but The Woke Left more generally, by communicating in deliberately opaque jargon, and eschewing speaking and writing about "men's issues" in everyday language

More importantly, our mindset pre-15 or so was akin to sentiments the barbarically under-remembered Asa Baber articulates back in '94 https://reason.com/1994/07/01/man-troubles/

The Manosphere died a slow and silent death, but lust for women will never disappear.

That's what's happening on sosauve. Many men came to the realisation that women/female nature is way to dynamic amd individualistic to use "just add water" types of tricks. It's pointless to spend tons of time on getting women while you also need tons of time to actually be the man they really want..

The balance here is great imo. Some puaS, some long term purple pillers, some incels, some women..plenty of topics that keep you thinking about life lust and love and yet you get the freedom to express yourself. There's even space to have a nice scuffle every now and then .

If anything sosauve helped me to man the F up like nothing before. Simply by thoroughly studying female nature( because p00sy used to be my numero uno motivation for years).

So salute to all my sosauve brothers .
