Age of Attraction, which was announced by the streaming giant this week, promises to match singles with their soulmates, regardless of age.

I find age gap threads hilarious. Partly over how hysterical US people are about them compared to UK people (although I must admit that slowly UK people are being brainwashed by the US in regards to age gaps).
Like, on US based forums I hear people be in uproar about a 21 year old going out with an 18 year old which is beyond ridiculous to me! (and everyone in the UK, for NOW at least, but probably not for much longer)

When I was in school, every single day, hot 15 year old girls were being picked up by their 22+ year old boyfriends in their hatchback sports cars and often getting pregnant by them. They'd wait in their cars at the school gates and even the teachers wouldn't bat an eyelid!

edit - just saw the gap in the article is 44 and 26?! Insane. That doesn't even qualify as a talking point to me! she's 26?!!!! I wish we didn't copy the US so much!

It seems odd to me that in this day and age, where they want to basically push "anything goes" as far as sex and gender, that the sticking point is a bit of an age gap. I really think it's because they want to find victims and oppressors in everything, and feminists want to portray such relationships as an older, experienced man "preying" on a younger, innocent girl. It's the patriarchy using its power to oppress younger women. Supposedly.
