I disagree. I’ve seen plenty of masculine guys such as blue-collar types like farmers, mechanics, construction workers, whose wives or girlfriends wouldn’t be considered “hot” by most standards.

Also, most of the stuff guys are told to do to “look good”—grooming, dressing well, good posture, manners, haircut, emotional awareness, wearing fragrance, keeping a clean house, dressing well, eating right—those are female traits women have traditionally mastered. In this context, a hyper-masculine man is rugged, blunt, unrefined.

No, there’s too many subjective factors that apply to this.

The biggest ones:

1). What is masculine? Too many different opinions on this alone.

2). Not everyone rates a female the same. Hot to you could be MID or uggo to someone else and vice versa?

3). Obvious outliers and contradictions. A guy that is masculine in your definition could easily be with a girl that you find unattractive. What does this entail?

4). Factors that apply to female genuine contradict this greatly. I seriously doubt this forum will consider a young pretty boy masculine. Otherwise, you do not know what is truly going on between a man and his partner. He could be paying for it, he could be in a dead bedroom relationship, he could be a slave, he could be a cuck…You won’t know or never know. Women find men with feminine features and traits more attractive than hyper masculine guys.

Agreed. Anyone who's read The Art of Seduction know that women go for all types of men. Imagine some new wave pop star from the 80s vs. a random Venice Beach bodybuilder or Navy Seal. The pop star will pull more with little effort even though he's dressed like a puerto rican hoowah.

One of the dumbest things about the RP and manosphere is how it almost fetishizes a specific type of masculinity. It's weird.

And yeah women are perceived differently, even if objectively beautiful they will not be universally attractive.

My observation is that the most obvious connector for males & very attractive women is:
a) amount of assets available to male to be somehow shared or shown off when woman is present with him ($),
b) the second one is social position relevant at the age when hot girls are most present and available for dating (pre-25 years old women),
c) age of male - it is the easiest to sway attractive women for 18-33 years old guys basic on looks only
d) experience & style, overall energy - mix of your history of dating and effects on psyche + factors above

Therefore, raw masculinity has not much to do with overall success with dating females, especially at the time it matters the most for males and females (you can go from 0 to hero but most of the time it will last too long to efficiently change your prefixed position when it matters the most - i.e. college and early young years), therefore not that much has change since medieval times - ugly guy with money that knows the rules of enagement will pick up and have sex with more women on regular basis than poor chadlite. There's no point to discuss exceptions (10/10 looks but poor guy) as those are exceptions.

Basically, one of the best ways to get to the truth and remove your biases is to be skeptical of your own thoughts.

Reflect on what a masculine man is and how he looks and how he behaves. Consider whether it’s possible to appear masculine on the outside but lack masculinity within, or to be truly masculine inwardly without fitting the typical physical image.

I learnt that as a little kid after watching certain 'documentaries' that were popular in the UK at the time that followed British clubbers as they went to Ibiza to party and try to get laid. I learnt that big muscles were definitely useful if you want to bang milfs. In my opinion, yes. Doesnt mean hes a good person nor does it mean hes someone i would be friends with. But its undeniable that a man's girl attractiveness is a big factor in how other men judge him. In my opinion, anyone that says otherwise is coping. Obviously there are other factors that make a great girl but lets be real 85% is looks. Want to hear your guys' opinion.

I think it depends on how you define "masculinity". Look at the flip side of the coin: is a woman's femininity defined by the man she's with? Is a girl who's dating a movie star, a billionaire or just a random variety Chad automatically more "feminine" than a woman who's with some average dude?

Also, when you say "a guy's girl", are you referring to a wife/long-term GF or just someone he happens to be dating at the moment? As they say about very hot girls: she's not yours, it's just your turn. Is the guy's masculinity going to nosedive like Tesla stock after Elon's ketamine-fuelled rage-tweet session the moment the two of them break up?

Does it matter if he's rich and she's a gold-digger? If yes, does that mean you can buy masculinity? if no, why not?
