Hmm maybe I explained myself badly.. Rather than mocking his woman by saying to her "you're weak" he gets this conclusion when she does these things: "she is weak".

So, by saying "she is weak" to himself, or during our conversations, he agrees that if she becomes infatuated with some guy, or if she starts to distance herself from him then he says "she is weak, so I understand her".

Rather than saying "this is hypergamy and I have not been her best catch for a long time" he says that she "is weak"
