The witcher season 3

Beside the fact that I forgot everything that happened before but..is it me or it starts to look like a teenage drama show?

All these teenage girls and pre post wall women arguing with over colored soyboy elves.

Anyone has an opinion on it?

Basically that poor bastars of henry cavil was supposed to slaughter monsters and dragons yet he is a half way between a baby sitter and a servant.

I watched part of the first season but never finished...played and beat all of the Witcher games tho which were fantastic.

I watched part of the first season but never finished...played and beat all of the Witcher games tho which were fantastic.

It happened the same to me kinda, I watched the first season which was decent but nothing worth running to to see, then dragged through the second but this third one is really heavy to watch...it's like a soap opera with a wizard once in a while.

I'll probably drop it.

Also the witcher gets less and less minutes by the episode.

Making the show all about Ciri was a huge mistake, the second I saw them hinging the entire narrative on her, I knew they were severely limiting themselves and their ability to tell a story in this universe.

The conflicts in the source material are rarely about Monsters, Geralt has been studying and hunting Monsters all his life, he has most of the answers already, understands most of the time what needs to be done, watching him pull the answer out of his ass is only entertaining from a female perspective, it's no different than super man, the real conflicts both Super Man and Geralt experience are with human beings, not necessarily the things that threaten the human beings.

At any point in time you could lean into the narrative of being a monster hunter, for them to have the Ciri narrative while focusing on homie being a monster hunter is so out of tune with the entire theme of the source material, they could of introduced Ciri or Monster hunting at any point in the story and instead focused on cultivating the interpersonal tension Geralt experiences as a sub human, instead they just blew their load in the first and 2nd season... What could season 3 possibly offer at this point.

A show called "the witcher" where the witcher is a secondary character cause the whole story is based on a teenage girl learning spells from an other woman after countless hours of introspection and feeling sharing while random people we dont even remember look for her.
