A.I. have already started to replacing peoples jobs. It's already in effect and will not stop.
Just look at Hollywood where there lately been strikes with the authors and actors is p|ssed off that they are losing their jobs to A.I.

Why employ expensive people when you have have A.I. working 24/7/364 without any breaks at the minimum cost of a worker and on top of that will never cause any issues or will complain?
The companies and their owners can easily see the cost/benefits and will quickly replace people for robots/A.I. IBM is already doing it:

Goldman for example have done an estimate and predicted that AI could lead to some 300 million layoffs among highly paid, non-menial workers in the US and Europe within the coming years.
People haven't waken up yet and doesn't realize how far it has come; most won't until it is too late.
