And it was great. Both of us were super tired from work, so we watched an episode of squid game, then cuddled/talked for about an hour whilst falling asleep.
 

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I mean good for you man, and no offense but what made you feel the need to share this with us? What were you trying to accomplish? Let it out? Advice? Approval? All of the above?

If this happens, which is perfectly normal in a relationship that is steady, just keep it to yourself. No need to share your private life unless you are looking for an outsider's perspective.

Live in private, date in private, be happy in private.

This was my reaction as well. OP has been around for a bit so I don't think he is a troll per se -- but this particular post is clearly a trolling post. Just trying to stir up people. So you didn't have sex with your plate on some random night you both hung out? Big whoop.

The point is that he's raised by a single mother and is now being left to pick up the pieces of his manhood in the best way he can and to reaffirm his manhood, he needs to show all of us how its really done; only thing is, we get these guys like once a month that come thru and start giving advice, trying to insult anyone that disagrees with them because they don't have enough life experience to entertain an actual conversation, you need patience for that! How the **** is a modern woman gonna teach her son patience? She's not.
