You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
haha we need to talk you have my number now brother wait til you here my current situationSure I would nail her if she was in great shape and sexually open. (Uninhibited)
Hard pass. Not really a kids person (which aren't mine).Would you date a single mother with kids no matter how many no matter how hot if yes why if no why
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
How old are youI'm going to backpeddle. I remember my ex-wife had a daughter in 2014 and I enjoyed her step-daughter's company along with us together as a family. I was doubly devastated by the separation, break-up, divorce because it effected her and I would no longer ever see her again, etc.. and it was nice having a step-daughter like her at that time. She almost seemed more sensible than my ex-wife whose behaviour and attitude basically doomed the marriage. Being 45 years old or older, a "ready-made" family would mean I don't have to worry about changing diapers, or toilet training or feel I have to look for a way younger woman who is in child-bearing age which would severely limit my prospects as I'm getting older unless I get an astronomical SMV boost.
That was answered in the post. 45.How old are you

Most moms I have met fvck good, but I'm the type of guy if I'm not serious about it I'm not going to lead a single mother on or give her any sex at all, it's never worth the fall out stress, the second there are kids involved coming and going is less favorable, like you tell her you want to meet the kids but that is very serious to meWhy does the fact that she has kids make her unfvckable if she’s attractive and DTF? I’ve had fun evenings with single mothers, not like I was trying to marry any of them.
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with that, to each their own and she could potentially be part of a good rotation. However, guys that are on the fence and making the time to create a thread asking for advice if they should date/f*ck/interact with a single mother are not the typical guys living in abundance with lots of options aka guys that can dismiss a woman when necessary. These are the guys that live in scarcity that get overwhelmed by the attention and special treatment they're getting and destined to attach and start rationalizing various serious scenarios with single mothers. I'd say staying away would be the sensible thing to do in a case like that so that would also be my go-to advice since i see single mothers as the most dangerous women on the dating market because of their agenda and honed skills to manipulate men into commiting. A mother of four with multiple fathers just spells trouble all over. Why does the fact that she has kids make her unfvckable if she’s attractive and DTF? I’ve had fun evenings with single mothers, not like I was trying to marry any of them.
ok how has it turned out for you since then? That was answered in the post. 45.
How has what exactly turned out for me since then?ok how has it turned out for you since then?
I have not dealt with any other woman since that divorce. With my reputation and type of posts here, what would make you believe I have any relationship with women period or a current girl? You also post in the General Discussions, so you must have seen my other posts around.your relationship with women or current girl?
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
