I made plans.... I try to get confirmation...

I don't do confirmations. I set a date/time and I show up. I don't make dates to do things that I wouldn't mind doing by myself if she doesn't show. If she won't agree to the date/time then I don't have a date in the first place and I do something else. I'm the one in charge, I'm not wringing my hands over what she is doing.

@PRW63 has the right mindset in his post, above. He's got no time for hamstering or needing to be her top priority. Girls come and go like the wind. Some say they'll fukk you and don't; others say they won't and do. Who cares. If she's right in front of you, you live in that moment. If she's not, you live in that one.

I would say most women who are only medium or low interest will play a waiting game on responding to your texts. However, there ARE women out there who are not connected to their phones 24/7 and can take longer to reply to a message sans games - especially during a work day. You shouldn't be so concerned that you start getting upset when she hasn't responded after only a couple of hours. Have more going on in your own life.

All you say is true but I think there’s another aspect that doesn’t get touched on much around here. Women lose interest WAY too fast these days. It wasn’t such an issue in my younger days, when a girl acted into me she stayed into me for awhile. Now days b!tches will be talking about your “future” on Friday and Monday want nothing to do with you and be cold as can be. It will be something as simple as you didn’t text back fast enough on Saturday or you didn’t do this or you said that. Something you weren’t even aware of being an issue. That’s not natural, yeah women are emotional but that is just flat out insane asylum type crazy. That’s what’s frustrating, the constantly having to walk on eggshells around women and to have to bust your balls to keep their interest at a high level will wear you out mentally.

A couple of hours to respond to a text is not a big deal (unless the message is about something that requires an immediate response). I sometimes take longer than that to respond to women if I'm busy.

2 hours is a long time? I guess it is when you don't have anything better to do than sit by your phone waiting for a text.

Imagine the reverse: a chick sent you a text, but you were busy or preoccupied with something else and it took you two hours to respond.... then the chick gets all p!ssed off because of it and says too late 'cause now she's doing something else. You'd think she's impatient, volatile, lacks a life, or is nuts.

In any event, you're too outcome dependent due to your insecurities.

In addition to insecurities in a dating context, part of this might also be you have a bit of a phone/technology addiction. I suggest practicing leaving your phone alone for extended periods of time, as well as beginning a meditation practice if you haven't already. Learn to be okay not checking your phone, whether you're expecting a text or not.

I think men get too caught up in becoming a “high value man” in the eyes of women. Look around, most women don’t even know what a HVM even IS. And the standard they set for them are backwards as hell. Why do I want to be a corner drug dealer with 7 baby mommas and a couple felony’s on my record? Women setting the standards of what a HVM usually have a kid or two out of wedlock, or maybe they were married and couldn’t make that work, why do I want to level up to appease that?
I recently flew to Idaho because I wanted a new truck and a dealership there sells them at steep discounts. I also had never been to Idaho and wanted to drive back 2200 miles through different states and make stops along the way and see parts of the country is never seen before. And you know what, I didn’t tell a single woman about it. This was MY trip, I wanted to do it for ME not to try to look like some HVM in the eyes of some woman. You know what else I did? Finally booked my Alaskan cruise that I’ve always wanted to do. I enjoy women not seeing me as a HVM, or maybe some do, I dunno and don’t care.What I do know is o stopped chasing my tail to be to them whatever they thought I should be to be “dateable”. To me a real man is happy with who he is in life and doesn’t need to change or become better to appease women.

I honestly don’t do stuff with the mindset of “will this get me females?” anymore. I’m not monk mode either. I’m just not in bust my ass mode to hope to get scraps that 100 other guys have gotten.
