I spotted her quite early on and went in her direction to find a spot to swim close enough to be close but not too close to be a creep (she was in a bikini).

Went for a swim in my underwear and she was locked onto me the entire time (I have a solid ass). After getting into the water I mentioned to her that it was kinda cold. She said she'd be in like an hour ago. After swimming around for a while I got to shore and she mentioned she was impressed by how long I was in there. Started chatting and chatted for maybe 15 minutes or so. I think she's older than me and she mentioned that I looked young, but her guess of my age was younger than I actually am, so she was underestimating it.

Got digits, she lives in the same neighborhood and apparently hangs out by the same lake. When should I set up to meet her? Is the wait 3 days thing still true? Some context: we live in a "suburb" type of neighborhood where it's mostly older people and families, not so much younger singles.

Don't overthink it, man. DO NOT wait 3 days, that is mindblowingly stupid. Not sure why some guys recommend the whole 24-48-72 hrs thing. You got the number and approached her, that is the hardest part. So good on ya mate. Her first impression of you is critical and she obviously noticed you. You got the number, carry on with that momentum later on the day. Just do not text more than a few sentences before you set up a date with her.

Conclusion: Strike while the iron is hot. Get her 1 on 1 face to face and just have fun man. Don't overthink it or you won't enjoy yourself as much.
