Just saw this documentary called "Daughters of India" which starts off with the brutal gang rape of a girl and beating up of her companion inside a bus in India back in
Dec 16, 2012 and the rape of a 5 year old girl that occurred around that time too. They said there was a proliferation of porn in some of the poorer slums in India and that men can not afford prostitutes and look for soft-targets like children. In fact, the adult men who raped this 5 year old girl confessed to watching porn before they did that. That has me thinking. We often think that porn is not responsible for anything, and that it's just fantasy for idle people, but it doesn't really lead anyone to rape? Well, stories like this cast doubt and portray people who watch porn as either pay a prostitute or ultimately rape someone or have sex with their sister or cousin if they are too poor to afford one to ultimately get off on a fantasy. So far they have passed more laws in India against rape, but didn't hear they passed anything against access to porn.
