I would not expect longevity out of the majority of these interactions. I think exes who are not currently attached are reaching out to each other to have sex. With bars less of an options for meeting new people and apps generally not being spectacular, reaching out to an ex seems easier than starting something from scratch in this current time.

Women will still be hypergamous post COVID.

When stuck with no new options or no new branches to swing to woman alway look backwards. They remember the familiarity of you and they believe they can get easy validation from contacting you, whether it is for sex or only just old fashioned validation

It is a pattern with women even before the corona virus but the current situation we are in gives them a simple excuse to reach out without appearing desperate.. When women break up they immedately look backwards. The corona virus has only given them an excuse to seek attention from you.

I simply choose to not engage when an ex reaches out. They are an ex for a reason. Leave them that way.
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
