Failure to contain the spread was Trumps incompetence. He obviously didn’t create the outbreak. He’s so stupid there’s hundreds of other reasons why as an incumbent President in a good economy he has such abysmal approval ratings.
Trump should be fired for asking (or begging) the FED to lower interest rates. I've made up this meme this morning: Lowering interest rates instead of lowering taxes For the middle class...because nothing's for Free in propping up Their equity.

Nah, it's Trump's fault for thinking the damn thing is a hoax.
lol no, he didn’t call the coronavirus a hoax. He called the coronavirus being his fault a hoax, because the liberal media has been blaming *him for it. You didn’t even hear the debate if you actually believe that lmao

He uses the presidency for his own personal profit,
That doesn’t make sense. He donates his entire presidential salary.
Would a true billionaire really be so eager to make a few bucks?
That’s exactly what Bloomberg is doing. ~80% of his fortune and wealth come from China. That’s why he’s been soooo friendly towards them and why he even ran for presidency to begin with. He’s got close to $60 billion, but that’s not stopping him from trying to get more. Here’s a video on it:

Bloomberg could have just retired with enough money to put his great-great-great grandkids through college debt-free about $59 billion ago. Yet that’s not stopping him lol

No, that was China’s fault. It’s not really a presidential issue, it’s more so a national security and foreign intelligence issue, of which the NSA and CIA are supposed to handle, respectively. And neither of those two agencies operate under the jurisdiction of the president OR Congress, contrary to what the laws may be. Those guys answer to no one, not even themselves lol. So it’s really just negligence on their end.

This is according to a Harvard Univ. epidemiologist.

Marc Lipsitch told CBS News in an interview airing Monday that "40 to 70 percent" of the global population could become infected with coronavirus and that it’s “almost inevitable” that the virus will impact the “entire globe.” He added that 1 percent of those who develop symptoms could die.
i told u we all will die but no one believed me

You honestly think any person can be lucky for 73 straight years.....????....

....cope..... Even if someone was born into mega wealth, if they're dumb as fvck eventually they'd be swindled out of it.... Trump is a really smart dude....

.....if not, how did he retain his wealth and win the Presidency while Bloomberg flopped....????...
Cambridge Analytica

Watch ‘The Great Hack’ on Netflix. It documents how team trump took the presidency through manipulating social media.

It would almost be adorable how clueless Lefties are.... except for the fact that they're actually allowed to vote:

Watch the documentary, stop shlt talking with the troll bait.

Cambridge Analytica did the manipulating of a cutting edge media during a cutting edge time, in a novel cutting edge way.

Right, Left of fixed ideology makes no difference, only the ‘persuadables’ do.

Now, you're terrified. ..but when Obozo did the same thing, you applauded. That's the point.
No, you are speaking from ignorance. The tech wasn’t developed yet. There’s a timeline, figure it out. Better yet just watch the vid and think a different political party used it, (which they did in other parts of the world) before prime time big time.

This 70% is a worst case scenario scare when no measures at all are taken, which is obviously not realistic since we do.
Fatality rates take time to converge so we can't say for certain yet (somewhere between 0.5%-5%) but it's more complicated than that. Fatality rates from the virus is a constant but fatality rates in a country is a variable depending on factors.
When you contain it early so you can attend to all the people in need, have enough protective gear, enough special equipment, isolate sick people early you've 0.9% fatality rate (mainland china).
When your healthcare system is overwhelmed (wuhan, italy) you've 3-5% according to the data released so far.

Euro here, You guys are in for at Doosy. We are ahead of most of you and i can tell you this is not good.
Most hospitals in my country are runnning out of supplies, Masks, Rubbing alcohol, testkits and ICU beds.
They are not even testing people, so since 2 days ago we have no idea of numbers. buckle up and take care of you and your family.
Be the Captain, dont downplay it.

I was thinking about this last night.

Maybe six weeks ago I stumbled across a night-time video in Wuhan and a woman I think was filing from her apartment.

She filmed two of her dead family members and you could hear an eerie chorus of wailing coming from outside. Almost like there was a world cup soccer game three blocks away. But apparently it was the survivors crying and shrieking.

It was really creepy but at the time I wasn't sure what to make of it. Still not entirely sure really.
Sounds crazy. Who films your dead family members anyway?
I also saw things i couldn't believe, like healthcare personal working around the clock screaming to their bosses they literally wanted to die instead of working a second longer, completely exhausted and broken down since people kept flooding in more and more every day. Basically the healthcare system collapsed eventhough they built 2 new temporary hospitals within 1 week (which is quite astonishing) before they eventually went into lockdown and the growth curve started to flatten out and turn down.

Now they're in single digit new cases since last 2 days in a country with 1.4 billion people. That's good news.

even if he did that == would you rather want Clinton to win?
Left or right, Clinton or Trump is not the point and a red herring that keeps folks who like to argue, divided and hostile toward each other.

It’s about the use of big data to build sophisticated behavior models for each FB user based on the preferences of both themselves and the network of ‘friends’ within their social circle by the ‘likes’, comment keywords and ‘sharing’ history. This is done with your data, without your awareness, knowledge, nor your consent.

This behavioral modeling segmented a user into 3 basic categories. There were the polarized ‘fixed’ positions (as is evidient in this thread) of people who whom no matter what evidence to the contrary will remain fixed in their perception of the world as ‘the truth’

That left the ‘persuasables’.

With this group, their newsfeed was fed a constant mix of media custom designed to trigger their ‘hot buttons’ much like targeted ads follow one across the web.

These custom ‘ads’ are composed of a variety of media and basically a manufactured ‘reality’ bubble personalized specifically for you. They were also able, with an unprecedented degree of accuracy, predict what your behavior would be after this ‘stimulus

In the age of social media, there is no objective ‘reality’ out there but a highly manufactured reflection of one’s own confirmation bias.

In post-modern culture, reality and truth are not what we were socially conditioned to believe them to be.

1% is actually not that high for a serious disease, but let’s get realistic here. Any CDC professional and others actually making a living in the disease field will tell you it’s too early to predict a case fatality ratio and how far the virus will spread.
That guy from a university was on TV spouting his personal guesses, so don’t bury your head under a blanket yet…
1% is actually a ridiculous amount of people. The problem is the speed which infection spreads, a very large amount of people becoming infected around the same time may overload hospitals. 1% of such a large number of simultaneously infected people can easily cause huge problem.

It is too early to have any sort of reliable statistics though, numbers will most likely change.

My country is basically shutting down (not from Italy), not to prevent the spread completely, just to slow it down as not to overload hospitals by many people being seriously ill.

1% is every 100th person, or 10000 per million people. It's not trivial for infrastructures. Hopefully it's less though, most likely it will end up being lower.

Here is an example of manufactured stimulus. The main objective is to observe the penetration and distribution within networks. It’s not about whether the content is real or fake, it’s one’s reaction to it as a quantifiable measure and thus continue to build advanced behavioral models that are currently unavailable to an individual even though it’s used an individual’s personal and private data.
