"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Not sure what I miss anymore.

shes riding chad c0ck as you write 10pages long forum threads
Hahaha, love that. The grim summary this thread thus far.

Sad but fcuking true.

On the other side, 6 month ago, she was my biggest mistake, now she's his biggest problem.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Fcuk she disgusts me brother....but somehow, sometimes, I still miss that b*tch. Rather I still miss who she was pretending to be.

How would I have loved for that imaginary girl that she custom tailored to my fantasies to exist for real.

This is the women I fell in love with.

But alas, she was just an image, an unauthentic reproduction of my desires, and this is a crushing fact to reconcile with.
You seem to have a good handle on what happened. I sometimes write here in the forum that we men can sometimes tend to fall in love with an idealized image of who we wish she was. I've done it several times in my life. When good things happen, we run with it and dismiss the bad. Love truly is blind, until we learn the hard way.

Remember: You are not unique in this, and there is nothing wrong with you. It's a lesson we must all learn.

Thank you for you story. This thread will be very instructive for men well into the future.

And im used to these jabs. In here and out here... Beta behavior always challenges alpha. Its nature and it happens naturally.
Yeah, keep on telling yourself that, maybe one day you will truly believe it.

Woke up this morning, having flashback of our good times, of her smile, of her laughter, of the places we have been to together.
This is what got me every time I would stop talking to her.

This time I will weather the imagery storm and distract myself with something else.

Thinking of a woman during the quiet hour of before or after sleep can be normal after a break, but if she’s actually in some of your dreams then it’s time to worry about your mindset.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Man, cut the crap with all of this excessive writing bull****. Just say the story and what happened. None of this “my oh so sweet, innocent baby girl” crap. That’s way too wish washy, and way too exescive in writing when you coulda just said ‘my ex’. And honestly, it’s just ****ing pathetic. Man up. No one talks like that in real life. And if you do, get a ****ing grip, man.

I think the whole writing style went 6 feet over your head. No worries, I am used to dealing with illiterates.

"TO LET IT GO" or as the board says. "LET HER GO" GET OVER IT, NOT GIVE A FCK. Blah blah

That means a lot of things but what this means is. YOU+GIRL= YOU VALUE YOURSELF MORE THEN HER.
...
Thats what women respond to. You want to write baby girl until she suks every last dollar out of you.
Good luck with that as you say. And Shakespeare while your at it make sure you bring flowers the next time your mind rationalizes your attraction level and you try to negotiate desire.
When she becomes the devil become the devils advocate....
See it wasn't that hard to give constructive criticism. I get your point, and appreciate it.

Most people learn from their mistakes. I will do the same. The difference being I decided to share mine on a forum.

Your in way over your head. Humbling yourself goes beyond pouring it out in a forum thread... try the mirror.
But you had to blow it didn't you? OK, now enough of this sh*t. Stop barking at my feet. Hoosh!

Bro, you made simple spelling and grammar mistakes, yet you tell me that I’m the one who’s illiterate? That’s so pathetic hahahahahaha!
I was talking about style, not about syntax, you bum.

And go back to your original post which wasn't spell-checked; you spell like a dyslexic on amphetamine, fool!

Funny thing, @CaptainNotSoObvious

If you do a history search toward those that currently seem to be 'flexing' the most... you'll find that they entered this site walking wounded like most of us. The difference between you and them is, it's obvious that you want to work through this and move forward. Judging by their continual posturing behavior, it's evident that they haven't or can't.

On this forum, there's this big obsession about not being an incel or beta. When reading postings with such self-proclamations, think of it no differently than the homosexual that overcompensates by shouting that he "hates phaggots." Sadly, this forum may very well be the only place where they can feel a sense of empowerment.

Hahahah...man, did not see it that way. Overcompensation in action.

Thanks BWV for the clarification.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Loool, did you have to spell that too, clown?

Anyways, I am ending this here. I don't want to derail my thread into a love-fest.
Says the dude who called himself a clown in his own title....

Bruh I almost got banned when I first started posting because I was so ****y and confident, yet you call me wounded? Hahaha! There’s no one on this forum like me. I was just telling OP to stop it with all the mushy writing. Say what happened, get to the point, and there’s your story. You don’t need 4 separate posts talking about because you maxed out the character limit, that’s just insane. Reminds me of soulforge when he had that one 10+ paged thread and eventually TicTac (pre-ban) just called him out on his bs cuz the dude kept going on and on without making any change lol. Now THAT dude was the biggest ******* this forum has ever seen lol

Move over Plato and Shakespeare.
Your below response contains such eloquence and stoicism. How do you do it?

Bro, you don't like the thread? you find it too long? Don't read it. Not complex to understand, even for you.

I received PMs thanking me for sharing my experience. Even asking me questions and asking for support.

This is all that matters to me.

Perspective > than writing.

The way someone’s thoughts are articulated and expressed are much more important than using big words for no reason when simpler words would accomplish the same. It’s because of things like tone. These things are much more important for language than words themselves. That’s why only 7% of communication is down through words, and the rest is done through tone and body language. You can’t see me, but I’ll definitely express tone in my text to get the message across better. There’s more meaning that way. Don’t be dense.
I guess that brings us to the same level then. Happy? now cut it!

Nah bruh, I’m just saying that your wording is all wrong. Too much lovey-dovey crap. Stop it. It’s no wonder why she left you. It shows in your writing—you’re trying too hard but it just comes off as being overdone. Be concise and parsimonious in your words. Especially here. I was hoping for something good which is why I read through all of it. But all I ended up getting was nausea from all the mushy **** my eyes encountered.

Also, do you really think I’m that dumb? No one PMed you thanking you for sharing your experience. No one PMed you asking questions. And absolutely no one PMed you asking for support. You know how I know this? They would have either posted their comments or questions in this thread (and likely would have attacked me right now), or at the very least they would start their own thread. Who do you think you’re fooling here? You’re way in over your head if you think you can lie to me lol

Well, since you asked an honest question, I will provide you with an honest answer.
Yes.

No one PMed you thanking you for sharing your experience.
I'd suggest that you not quit your day job to become a clairvoyant. I've not only spoken to CaptainNotSoObvious via e-mail, but we've had a phone conversation.

You seem to enjoy using the word "bruh." I don't see you as living the example. Here's the thing about "brotherhood." When you see a fellow man in a state of limbo, you reach in and offer a hand (I've been on both sides - we all have). I have no doubt that when CaptainNotSoObvious is back in full force, he'll reach in and help someone else. This is what true brotherhood is about.
