"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Everything is stupidly unpredictable within the first 5 dates with women. Especially nowadays with the availability of dating apps at finger tips. And people wanting to be snipers about investing their emotional investments; couple all of that with hypergamy and It’s no joke.
I assume women are seeing minimum 3 men in reality when I go out with them on the first 5 dates. Then they pick the best one; for now. And they still have orbiters for the first 2-3 months. Guaranteed. Albeit, she will never touch any of those orbiter guys, but rest assured she’s not just gaining validation from you.

It’s why abundance mentality is so important while not being needy. Diversify interests, time and attention. Women don’t show us who they really are until about 3-6 months after exclusivity.
Great post. Dating apps are awesome for men but they def benefit women equally if not more. One slip up and your nexted. Even if you play things perfect she’s talking to multiple guys and if she’s hot enough good chance you’ll be out alpha’d

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Yeah, dating and relationships are a MAJOR pain in the ass these days. If women and men would just quit trying to "out-game" each other, we wouldn't have 90% of the problems we have. The problem with women that pull stuff like you described is time always catches up with them. Always. They'll sit around b!tching about "why cant I find a decent guy? How come I cant find a guy with a job? How come all the guys that hit on me now are losers?". Well, that's because you burned all your bridges when something was going well because you thought the grass was greener on the other side, you eventually ran out of decent men and are now left with fat losers that don't have any money, and the guys you dropped are not interested in you anymore.

Yep, everyone playing games and living in fear. And it becomes exacerbated as we age and people carry around more and more baggage. Projecting their insecurities and seeking for this idyllic relationship which comes packaged and ready made.

Women rarely look within themselves to sort out the issues they deal with. It’s always the man’s fault. But hey, most women end up settling for a decent ‘connection’ rather than something deeply meaningful. Then divorce is pending around 45. It’s all fear in dating now. Too many choices and so little satisfaction because people don’t want to work through issues. Running against a clock and seeking the total package.

I dont disagree with you, I just dont have much faith that most people know how to create something 'deeply meaningful' you know?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I’m not fooling myself to think I’ll ever find or have what my grandparents had, which is married for 54 years. They came from the old generation and went through WW2 and Korea. My grandpa was an alpha though, he met my grandma by walking up to her at a dance and cutting in on her and her date.lol
