What came first, the chicken or the egg?
The egg came first. It begins with the mental paradigm of desiring to be the biggest troll in SoSuave history. You must wake up desiring it and go to sleep desiring it. You must really want it.
At first, you visit a random forum, and throw a troll post here, a troll post there.
Next, you start visiting various forums with intermittent troll posts and a few regular posts in between.
Next, you must get at least one ban from one forum. This is the hard part, the intermediate level ... a milestone if you will.
Then, at the advanced level, you must get banned at every forum at least one time.
Soon the paradigm comes alive, and you have created 129 handles in each forum, all banned, and your dream has finally manifested! Alas ... you have finally made it. Then you meet a Guru who stands you up at an oyster bar.

Or don’t fake anything. Forget about confidence. Focus on improving your competence. Accept that you suck. But realize that, with more experience, you can gradually improve and suck a bit less lol.

I faked confidence before I became it. You just need to eventually make it while you fake it. Believe in yourself and you can definitely fake it. Confidence is definitely something you can fake while you make. "Habitually lying" is way too deep, it should be lightwork, if you are deep diving into psyche, you need more work on inner game, you as a person.

Agreed. I have never understood, and even now I can't say I understand, exactly why "confidence" is supposed to be such a big deal with women. But since I was a kid, they've always said "Be confident", so I've always faked it, because I knew I was supposed to be confident. To be honest, I don't think women can tell the difference between genuine confidence and a hole in the ground. A lot of swagger is really just disguised insecurity.
There was a video on YouTube about confidence, can't be bothered to find it. But there was a girl on there who used the word "courage" instead of confidence, and I thought that made a lot more sense. She appreciated that a guy had the "courage" to approach her, and that increased her attraction to him. You can have courage without being confident. "Bold action" is also something that women appreciate.
