Any help with Bumble/Tinder?

I never bothered with these before but i signed up to Bumble last night. I just put up some pics of myself and started swiping.

I must have swiped 150+ girls and i got 5 matches.

Now i would say im fairly good looking though i think my pictures aren't amazing, they are just "ok"

Is 5/150 actually decent conversion or do i need to take better pictures, if so is there like a formula?

For my pics i have a shot that shows my physique quite well at the beach, one with a some of my guy friends and one with an attractive female friend

These are pretty much all based off photos so you definitely want to put your best foot forward in the pics so to speak...

I completely disagree..I don't look like a greek god,far from it actually.I met the woman I am with now on Tinder..she was the very first swipe totally weird as I thought she was a fake profile at first because she was smoking hot,and the best part is I didn't pay a dime..it is true when they say that the best things in life are free....it was in my case.

150 swipes on your end does not translate to 150 women seeing your profile. There are algorithms ,inactive profiles, location settings etc. I know as guys we want the stats, and they can be useful, but just focus on having fun with it and don't take it too seriously.

As for my stats, I used Tinder very casually over a year. These are all rough estimates but I would say 1000 swipes, 50 matches, 10 dates, 1 girlfriend. Of the ten women I dated, my girlfriend was the only one who met my standards. For curiosities sake, while I didn't sleep with any of them (other than my girlfriend), I could have slept with 3-4 of them within the first few dates.

Now, my housemate was using all his swipes every day and was getting laid every week, but maaaan he had a lot of low quality (although some of them very hot) women. I was super picky and didn't want to waste my time.

But, there are a lot of threads around SS about how OLD is pretty garbage and while I think you can have success with it, face to face game is where it's at. You'll learn more and you will have a much higher chance if you have game. Use OLD when you can't be out and don't take it seriously at all.
