"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

We all need to really really appreciate ourselves. We are a VERY VERY rare breed

Vast majority of good looking men work mediocre jobs and know nothing about financial management
Many men who have good jobs and are good looking are lying, cheating, douchebags.

If you're a genuinely good dude (you treat people well, you don't lie, you go out of your way to help out the ones you love) and you're very strong in the superficial areas, you're literally in the top 0.1% of men

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

The thing is, can you keep doing that?

If you can manage to keep being a good person up until your thirties, I think that is a rare thing.

You know what, I agree with you here Dave!

I personally think being a "manly" man encompasses a moral philosophy as well as a "successful" one. I'd rather be poorer with morals than rich with no empathy for anyone else. I respect a good man with morals far more than a corrupt man with money.

After all, on your death bed you won't have your looks and your money will be useless. That's the time when you look back and think "Was I a decent person? Did I treat others like s***?"

I believe it was a King of Sweden who once lamented: "I came into this world with nothing, and I shall leave it with naught but caravans of sin."

I'm awesome to my loved ones, I will almost always inconvenience myself to help them out. When I promise to be somewhere, I almost always show up. I almost never lie about anything

That's how you have to be

I mentor unemployed 18-24 year olds and receive nothing in return, I do this after work in my own time. I’m about to run 10k for charity next month.

Being good to friends and family is not something to mention. Tell me how you’re a good dude... “Going out of your way to help ones you love” hah! Try going out of your way for ones you don’t love. Try being kind to those you should hate. What you are explaining is basic human nature, we all look out for friends and family. You’re deluded.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Before a man can lay claim to being a good man, he 1st must lay claim to being evil.

Only through evil can he comprehend compassion and thus do good deeds.

Whoever the best people in the world are, I think that if you asked one of them, "Are you a good person?" they would have to stop and think a moment about the question.

I consider myself a decent good guy, but nice? I do not believe I am. What I am is a man who treats people like I would want to be treated; with dignity and respect. However, I didn't get where I am in my professional life as being nice. I am a bit aggressive in going after what I want. I saw weakness in my business dealings and I took advantage of them for my benefit (legally, of course). I always dealt fair, but I would always low ball first and see if they bit. Some did, others waited. When there was blood on the streets during the panic in 2007 - 2009 I made out like a legal bandit.

This, however, doesn't help in the dating and relationship world. I guess I come off as a good guy, however, many modern women somehow transfer self-respect and dignity as weak. Women are not to be trusted. They turn on a dime and you need to keep them at bay. There was one woman I trusted once, boy that was a bad idea. I become mostly detached and mysterious with women. I tend not to make the same mistake twice. These beings are NOT to be trusted. If you do, you will be sorry, eventually.
