"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Personally I'd say what differentiates a "plate" from a "gf" is normally:

1. Value
2. Commitment

Are you guys committed as "a thing", exclusively, formally? Or is it just kind of casual?

If she's your *actual* bona-fide GF, I'd say that means she's probably been judged by you as high value. Which, if you have good taste, means she's trustworthy when it comes to the big stuff (I.E. not climbing on other dudes) as well as attractive.

Personally using that logic I wouldn't worry about her bumping dudes whenever she's sick. Better to worry when she is consistently showing low interest in dates repeatedly all of a sudden, or if your sex life suddenly goes colder.

With a "plate" you have no commitment with, obviously bets are off and you'd be right to be more suspicious. But a girl you'd elevate to GF status should be someone you trust not to cheat.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Just chill and do you tonight. I wouldn't call or text her anything tonight or even tomorrow. Even if you do legitimately care to see how she's feeling, she'll spin it into you checking up on her or have some sort of trust issues (women are completely irrational in that sense)

Watch her behavior for the next few days and mirror her communication. Her actions will begin to tell you if something else is up other than being under the weather. We as men tend to dig ourselves into a hole by overtly trying to keep things as status quo and make things right. This unfortunately comes off seeming desperate and or needy.

Just chill and be cool. You'll know if something is up by her behavior over the next week or so...

I think you are overthinking it. Just see how things play out over the next week or so.

I was sick last week too and didn't want to see the girl I'm dating too.
It was very annoying that she was blowing up my phone the whole time trying to impose herself to come and take care of me.
I told her, no I just want to be left alone for a week until I'm better.

So your girl is most likely just be feeling sick and not want to have you around for a while.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Poster 1: it’s a bluff
Poster 2: she’s shvt-testing you
Poster 3: hypergamy, she’s branchswinging
Poster 4: trust your gut

Good God, this is what the forum evolved into?

OP, she’s sick. See how she’s feeling. Ridiculous.

Yeh but seriously, I didn't really want her slobbering all over me with cold and flue either... So I just left her to recover, went out with my mates last night..

We got drunk, met some girls, etc etc... anyhow I just sent her a message today, told her to chill and recover soon.

Forget driving over to see her, or ringing her.. She got flue, not on her fricking death bed.

Yeah pretty much. Everything a woman does is intended to be a sh!t test or to see how a guy reacts...smfh

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
