"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

So if you all follow my journal, you know that my 21st birthday is this weekend. I’ve been talking to this girl, and I’ve been on a date with her before. She’s been feeling me, and so when we were talking today I asked “So you tryna give me some of that birthday luvn” with a winky face. And she was like “lol boii nah I might give you a cupcake but that’s about it.” So is that my fault for being too forward or is it just low interest? Should I just next? Not trying to have to go on 100000 dates just to have secks lol. I just have no idea what to do so drop that advice

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Are you just looking to get laid by easy hoes? Or would you rather earn your lay? She responded, was probably trying to be funny, and you shouldn’t take it personally. I would t even take that as a no. She’s coming out for your birthday right? Bring her out, have some drinks, and seduce her, shouldn’t be tol difficult unless she has high moral standards regarding sex.

Haha you have a point. Guess I shouldn’t take it too personally. I’ll be out of town for my birthday but I’m sure I’ll have other chances to escalate later

In my opinion this is vague and passive. "Try" conveys indecisiveness and uncertainty.

In my opinion it's best to be specific with the day time and place:

"Will you join me for a drink or two on my birthday at (place) at (time)?"
of course. most women wont even recognize if its a joke or serious of you ask them indirectly

You should have responded back with something playful.

"Now I expect a cupcake as well. Make it red velvet. A few of us are going out for birthday drinks on _____ night at ___pm. See you there".

Thats it.

Sounds like you have been on ONE date with this chick. Calm down and dont be so uptight. Dating is supposed to be fun, so make it that way.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Ask her if the cupcake is on her "V" for a private party for 2 at your place.

Every girl that I have smashed (except a few) that has said "Do you think we should be doing this......I dont want you to think less of me" as we are ripping clothes off has made me think the following:

I am going to think less of you after we smash, regardless lol. Obviously I dont say that...but that is what comes to my head.

My typical response is (in her ear) "We are both adults and right now I am going to be a man and treat you like a woman....and take what I want I want from you right now...."

It normally prevents any more stalling around from the anti sloot defenses.
