I'm 30. Not long ago, I was on Tinder and a match told me that she was unsure at first because of my age. She thought I was too young. Perhaps a person's dating options only get better with age? One can only hope.
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
Like with all things, it depends on the individual. When i was on Tinder, i set the age up to 40 to see everything that was on there.
But the women post 35 there were such poor quality that it depressed me to consider about that being a potential dating pool for me in a decade or two.
I think men's age is a funny thing. I had a lot of success in my teens/early 20's, then went through a weird period of trying to adapt to being an adult where i fell into typical beta territory (one or two new lays a year, if i was lucky). I've since sorted that to having better results than i've ever managed.
I can't imagine it peaking later than 35, possibly 40 though. I don't see where the guys are coming from who make out that men peak any later than that.
So don't hold out thinking that the game will get easier. Because you missed one massive peak already (teenage party years), and you might be wasting another (30 to 35, when both brain and body are in good nick).
I also find it interesting that the average age of marriage in my country is something like 31 for women and 33 for men iirc. Which goes to show who is bossing the frame, doesn't it?
No fvcking way would i get married at this point. If i were inclined, i'd do it at about 40.
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
I'd rather become a multimillionaire.Just lift weights . that's the only advantage you'll have over 90% of younger guys. Most young guys don't lift at all and they're skrawny as hell.... I'm not saying u need to get Brock lesnar big, but u need to get big enough to have a presence when you walk in the room... when people call you big dog everywhere you go, that's when you'll know you have achieved that presence
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
based on what? lots of men look like garbage - fat and bald by 40Men age like fine wine, whereas women age like milk
Remember that
Yeah sure, if that makes you happy.based on what? lots of men look like garbage - fat and bald by 40
if you mean that men age great when they work out obsessively, take great care of themselves and get hair transplant surgery then you can say the same thing about women
women can have kids until 40 or soYeah sure, if that makes you happy.
Women have wombs.....they have a limited time, before what they can bring to the table which is valuable....reaches it's sell by date...
