Have they considered that maybe gender equality isn't supposed to be obtainable? Just because things change doesn't mean human instincts and nature does. Back when dudes were putting their lives on the line hunting wild animals or protecting the village from invaders, pretty damn sure the women didn't cry about not having equality...

In the Bible, it talks a woman's role numerous times:
Ephesians 5:22-24

Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands.

Genesis 3:16

To the woman he said, “I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children. Your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.”

Titus 2:5

To be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.


There are similar things in practically ALL scriptural texts in pretty much every religion. This goes along with women's desire by nature, to be submissive. Gender equality goes against women's nature. That is why feminists although they are increasingly getting what they want, are bitter and hateful despite this because they do not allow themselves to be submissive as is a woman's nature and they resent the fact that men allow them to control more and take more power, even as they revel in it.

Forced prostitution like sex trafficking are examples of violence against women and children, but adult women who decide to sell sex for money, for whatever reason, I think is not an example of violence against women. If it's a choice, and not forced, then it's not necessarily oppression imo. I don't think it's a simple black and white thing.

The first belief that prostitutes are forced/coerced to work is a big joke. You know why? Because those "prostitutes" could run off any time they want. They aren't being held at gun point by a pimp. The pimp isn't guarding the door. He is nowhere in sight. Why does the prostitute go back to the pimp.....because she supplies her with drugs.

Same goes for the Asian massage parlors that set up shop in many large cities across the US. Any of those girls could run out the door if they chose to. Yet after the smoke settles the most common charge is money laundering/tax evasion/etc. Many of the Asian massage parlors are operated by women that send money back to their homelands.

In the city I live in there was a major area that always had prostitutes working out of the hotels which happened to be in the business corridor where lots of businessmen stayed. The girls advertised out of Craigslist/BackPages and another local publishing that was similar. Eventually with enough political pressure and busts, the cops drove the girls out and claimed victory. Except the only thing they were victorious in was driving the girls to set up shop elsewhere. So now it is run out of a website which makes it much harder for the cops and gets it out of the public eye. The website owners verify your place of employment and verify you aren't a cop. The providers and their customers all post reviews on the site. Works like Yelp does. lol.

Stop believing what the do-gooders and media tell you. As long as men want sex and are willing to pay for it, there will be women willing to sell it. One has what the other wants. The human trafficking sad story is a ploy to play on the emotions of the public and makes for better headlines. It happens far less than they want you to believe. The vast majority of it happens between two consenting adults. The law has always been that it is illegal to buy and sell in regards to prostitution in the US and it hasn't ever stopped it. Sweden fails to realize that they just drove it underground. I'm not buying their story, I've seen it play out in my local city many times before. All they did was get it out of the public eye.

Provide all the services/programs you want to convert these prostitutes into normal citizens. We have that in the US and most girls revert back to prostitution. Its easy money and it draws them back in every time.

This is complete BS. The only ones who claim it is "an aspect of male violence" are feminist liars. Most people know prostitution from Wild West movies and crime dramas, where the women invariably have a heart of gold, are tough, and don't yearn to get out of their profession.

Most prostitutes in Western Europe are Romanians staying there illegally. Also Yugoslavs and Albanians. They'll write in their profile that they come from Spain or Italy since they spend a lot of time there, two thirds of Spanish men paying prostitutes, so they pick up some of the language and think their looks can pass as Spanish. Second largest category are Black women from the West Indies, almost always the Dominican Republic, though they'll write various countries to sound interesting. The rest are from northern East Europe and miscellaneous.

All of these come from poor countries and make a lot of money going to Western Europe. No, my point is that there are many biblical scriptures that many people don't follow except for the ones that most fit their own views and beliefs. You're stating that gender equality shouldn't be expected because of what the bible says.

If I was to accept your biblical quotes, in the context of gender equality, suggesting that gender equality goes against women's nature because the bible says women should be submissive etc, then on the same token the scripture I quoted suggests that men are to refrain from immoral sexual behavior because that goes against their nature, because the bible says they shouldn't. And we are to love our ememies because not doing so goes again our nature, because the bible says we should?

I think men are exploited in a way too, the sex trade directly exploits men's sexual desire, look at men who drop 100s on lap dances trying to get closer to a sexual encounter that the stripper keeps dangling in front of him.
But while many women enjoy sex, I don't believe that hookers get off with each client they sleep with. Like porn stars, it's usually just a performance in exchange for money. There are several articles online about the sex trade and a common thread is that the women usually feel nothing from the encounters, it's just a business transaction and they play a part that a man is paying them to play.
