They hired a new super hot female bartender at my local tavern (I dated the last super hot girl there but she could never beat out my last girlfriend).

However, after they introduced her, for some reason I got annoyed by her. I saw some guy she was dating and saw how every man there was at her beck and call. You should have seen how nice the really handsome guys her age act. Me however, I would intentionally rotate my bar stool so I didn't have to look at her. Just another spoiled Princess (this one from Lithuania) I thought.

The funny part is, last night (only the third time she saw me, all in the past 7 days) she came over and had 20 questions for me, was super interested, and it turns out she is moving into the apartment complex where I live.

I realized that being annoyed by beautiful women is probably the best attitude to have, especially when you first meet them. And don't pretend to be annoyed, actually be annoyed.

Its an obious tactic to look disinterested or to have a cold approach, but i don't get it, if you are genuinely annoyed, you would not use it as a tactic to get her.

It's like a catch 21. I've been with many nice looking girls that i just can't stand but they seem to keep approaching me even though i really just don't wanna have anything to do with them.
Heck, even thinking about some of them makes me sick. I'd rather have a 7/10 that is sweet and cool to hang with than with an annoying b1tch 8-9/10 that i wanna punch in the face all day.

I don't think you have to be annoyed. It's not her fault all those men were kissing her ass, all that matters is that you don't.

These are the types of girls I approach by saying: "I thought I'd come over and talk to you, since you look a little shy and lonely". Knowing full well that she was getting loads of attention.

I always laugh when I hear people say something like this, don't you realise how stupid this sounds?

First you make the assumption that 7/10s are all "sweet and cool" to hang around with and 8s or 9s are all "annoying".

And second, you're basically saying that you'd rather not be with a woman who is an 8 or 9 and is "sweet and cool".

If anything, in my experience the opposite is true.

I didn't act annoyed so much as I secretly was, and that seemed to be something she preferred to having her butt kissed. She is not from the US so that is a bonus.

Being annoyed covertly and/or not engaging is a way to determine IL. If you are ignoring and she is trying to engage, she is interested in knowing who you are. Beware the female that feels as if she needs to prove herself to an uninterested male. This screams self esteem issues. The healthy female will realize that he's not interested, so why waste my time? Yes, I understand that this sucks. All I am saying is that, for a female that responds positively to negging (which is what this is), you need to screen extra for deep seated issues.

I don't think it's about proving themselves, it's more about curiosity. If men are giving their undivided attention and power away to a women who hasn't shown any actual value, then I don't blame her for assuming those men are low status.

The difficulty sometimes lies in discerning low versus high self esteem in a chick.

If you can sort for low versus high self esteem early on (pick high self esteem, you'll thank me later), you'll make an enormous reduction in the amount of drama you have to deal with.
