I have had the opportunity to live in the younger parts of NYC and comparing it to my college days, younger neighborhoods in NYC win big time. Now I can see if someone went to Florida St that maybe it is true but I really think that the whole "you'll never run into such a high number of attractive women" nonsense is just that, nonsense.
Just walking around in younger parts of some big cities, I feel like I run into way more hot girls than I ever did at my university (big 10 school). Not just that but I have found that women are more approachable and game works since the social scene is not as tight knit as it was in college where being in a frat was required to get the hottest girls.
I think we're overrating college.
What is said is true if you move to a boring suburb or small town after graduation but otherwise, it isn't so.
