"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

So I was supposed to get high with this chick in the morning, and we had set it up the night before. The morning comes and she flaked. While I wasn't the least bit mad, I also wasn't surprised. She wanted to kick it with me for awhile but I was either too busy with wrestling or wasn't in the mood. The difference is that I never set a time to chill until that moment, so I know I'm not at fault entirely.

She sees me in person and..
- She asks what happened, to which I respond that I texted her number to see where she's at
- She then acts dumbfounded saying "oh that was you!"
- In my mind, who else would text her around the time you were supposed to chill. (It was supposedly 7:10 AM)

My attitude remained neutral throughout the ordeal and confrontation.

Also, I ask if I handled it well because that was the first time I've been flaked on.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Right behind you
She was just playing dumb. You can try chilling with her again, but if she flakes a second time ignore her from that point on. You did alright.

No, you didn't set a definite time and place. And she flaked.

She flaked. That means she's done. Find a new woman.
Yeah, I did. It was supposed to be 7:10 am in the parking lot and we'd leave from there.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

That's a really strange situation....

You were supposed to get "high" with a girl at "7.10 in the morning"....

Who the fvck arranges to get "high" with someone at that hour the morning. What drugs are you both on......

This situation is outside the spectrum of normal dating/game...

Two of you are druggies so it affects the situation:
You were supposed to hang with her but weren't in the mood........effects of drugs? mood swings...

She didn't recognize your text........because she's a druggy.

She flaked to meet you at 7.10am......can't rely on druggies.

- No, I flat out did not feel like hanging with her at times.
- I'm not druggie, I do it sparsely if anything.
- We're in hs, so we planned on skipping 1st period. I'd be too busy afterschool that day.

OP she may have flaked on you because she was already high.

The only way to "handle" a woman is to walk away.

If you have to "handle her", you will have to do it again.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Stay off the drugs, stop cutting class, work on your grades, do sports, join social clubs.....

Stick with the "winners", the folks that wish to progress...........

If you must insist on hanging with a pot head or a crack head at least do it on your downtime, like at the weekend......but still, the weekend
could be spent doing enjoyable things and with enjoyable people...

If you already "didn't feel like" hanging out with her, it sounds like a girl who is not really worth your time......so why spend time with someone
who you know is not worth your time..

Get your priorities in order. Little errors in judgement have the potential to add up.
