"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Am I the only one who cringes when people call me "Sir"?

(Literally as a 60 year old waitress calls me sir).

And don't tell me people in the South are trained to be douchebags.

Doesn't "sir" always seem like a backhanded way to say "old man"?

Simple rule: If I am still strong enough to kill your boyfriend with my bare hands, don't call me Sir.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

It's a polite and respectful thing to say. It's just good customer service taken seriously. It doesn't imply age, but most guys who's formally a Sir are old.

I like it from men as it's a sign of respect, I like it from young women for the same reason, but for some reason I hate it from the 30+ female crowd. Somehow I perceive it as disingenuous from that group.

You'll never be strong enough to stop a bullet, Neil.

Pretty sure the term 'Sir' is a sign of respect, at least in the states I've been in. Now being called 'grandpa,' 'coon,' or a blatant insult would be disrespectful. At least in my book.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I've noticed that I get called "Sir" in a customer service situation where She's letting me know that she doesn't think that I'm being very "professional." It's usually a turn of events, and it happens QUICK, and it's just a switch that gets flipped in Her mind (not warranted, because I've met 10s of 1000s of people and Know people therefore I know if I am wrong). She's usually very inexperienced if she (the customer service hoe) drops "Sir" as a kind of chastisement. She hasn't weathered any REAL storms of a wide variety of people if she thinks "I" am actually outta hand. So I laugh. She will never see me stop laughing. She can threaten me with my job and I'll still think she's silly. It's just the world we live in where women don't belong in the positions they're in, and make more money than they are worth fo sho.
