Offered 2nd date but what to do?

Went on a date with a chick and it went pretty well. We chatted loads and I made her laugh.

After the date she text me on the way home so we exchanged texts and I asked her out to dinner next weekend.

She replied and said yes to dinner but is busy next weekend so could do weekday before xmas instead.

How do I play this? Should I accept the date she has suggested or reject it and offer a different date?

You never ask for another date on the day of a current one. Secondly, its the holidays. People have extra obligations. More finesse is needed. The girl wants to go with you, and even suggested a time and day for dinner. Just follow up and make the date. Its fine.
