I'm flattered that you would think of such a thing:)
Gio has a girlfiend and who knows she might be his wife someday, and I have a boyfriend who will be my husband someday in the next year and a half.

Sorry, otherwise I think that that Gio guy is pretty HOT!:p :D

Is sending flowers for VAlentines AFC?

Man, I work with all women and I see how they brag to each other about how thir bf/ hubbies buys them this and that. REally, only reason why I think they admire VAlentines day is because they can brag to their friends what their sig other did for them. I know this one guy who has never sent his wife flowers or done anything special or her. She takes care of him, cooks, clean and doesn't pout or argue. What do you all think?

I would'nt waste the money......you have to be serious with someone to buy something like flowers. I would'nt bother....spend the money you were going to spend on flowers and add it to your DJ clothing.

General rule of thumb.

Don't send flowers unless you're 6 months into a relationship..

Besides shes just going to look at them for maybe 5 minutes then place them in water and she'll forget about them and they will die in 3-4 days time anyway.. I think it's a crock.

Flowers?

I think the only occasions I bought flowers was for funerals. So, I don't give flowers to girls; they may get the wrong idea.

Everyone hates Valentine's Day...this is what happened to me today,

I gave her a card

I gave her a picture of us

I gave her a box of chocolates she loves

I told her "Happy Valentine's Day!"

in return, she proposed.

I am blown away.

If you're smart you would have declined her offer.

Say NO! :D

Congratulations man! What did you say? heh. I don't think there is anything wrong with a card and flowers IF you do it the right way and the relationship is (sorta) established. I am dating 2 girls at this time, and both of them have strong feelings for me. I know that I can get away with flowers and I card because it makes them feel special. I'll probably give them both a rose and a card, write something nice in the card, and surprise them at work with it.

Call me old-fashioned, but I wouldn't be able to accept a proposal from a girl.

For the record, I wouldn't accept a proposal from a guy, either.

Oh, and regarding the question at hand: The act of buying flowers for a girl for is not AFC in and of itself... it's the circumstances that will determine that. If you're giving flowers to some girl that you've been admiring from afar for three years, yeah, that's AFC. But if you're getting your wife flowers, no, that's not AFC. It's all about the context.

what to do for Valentines...

Ok fellas, heres the deal:
I have a girlfriend who ive been seeing for a little while now and we dated for a bit too, this is our first Valentines together and shes never really had a big valentines day before.

thanks to her bi*ch of a roommate who told her that I had all this stuff planned (which i dont!), my girl will be very dissapointed tommorow (were doing Valentines tommorow instead of today)
if i dont have all types of small things planned to do with her throughout the day, I have reservations at a decently nice restraunt uptown and i have some flowers ordered, but i need advice on some actual stuff to do tommorow during the day before tommorow night, my brain's really fried right now and i cant think of anything, so ANY ideas would help or at least get me thinkin in the right direction.

Massage would definitely be good. If you can cook, the majority of women loves it when a guy cooks for them. This should be a quite. relaxing time for both of you.
Seems like you're hooked

yeah, a bit, but more me being "hooked", i just really want this to be a good valentines day for her tommorow, none of her past bfs never put alot of thought into the stuff they did for her, and at least tommorow I want to be the stereotypical boyfriend she fantasizes about for Vday

Wow, i guess I am whipped:)
