Oxide, you can do that, but doing so is a very poorly controlled study as there are other factors related to acne that are not being taken into account.

Is your acne mild, moderate, servere, somewhere inbetween? Believe it or not, but acne IS related to diet, regardless of whatever "experts" say. The HILARIOUS thing about it all is that these "experts" will agree that excess androgen are a huge factor in increased oil production and hence acne. However, what these "experts" fail to realize is that diet is related to developed insulin resistance and insulin resistance (which leads to high levels of insulinb hormones) STIMULATES androgen production. I can tell you from:

1) My own research over 3 years
2) My fuvking face, my fuvking back, my fuvking chest

There IS a link between diet and acne. A STRONG link. Even my roommates saw a noticeable difference in just a few months when I found a good diet.

I have it MOSTLY figured out. I don't know everything, because genetics does play some role and it is hard to pinpoint everything. I also need more time to see what is happening to my skin because a skin disorder like what I've had will not change overnight.

However, I am MUCH closer to the full answer than a derm who sits in his/her office handing out creams, antibiotics and dangerous drugs for a living :rolleyes:

profit, profit, profit, that is what it is all about. Not helping people with acne.

And for the record, I have tried creams, antibiotics, and dangerous drugs. That is what led to my frustration and avoidance of all this "pop dermatology" BS and do my own independent research (i.e. research that is NOT funded by say the chocolate industry in a study to determine if chocolate increases incidents of acne :rolleyes:)

tilltheendoftime, is diet the only thing you changed. Because I have always had a spot on diet. Could you tell us any other things you did that was new/different.

I am willing to stop ejaculating for a month at a time. I have done it before and I will start today. I just make my gf cvm then say I don't want to cvm because I hate condoms, shes cool with it. I didn't experiances any real benifets after the first week of constant boners

I have been meaning to write something up on acne in the health+fitness board, but I'm always finding out some new details so I've been holding it off.

I got class soon so I'll give you some short notes now and elaborate a bit later.

Basically in point form:

- did research
- found articles on "non-westernized" people (eskimos, tribes that still live of the land and are not exposed to much "western" type of food)
- researchers found these types of people had almost NO acne at all
- the fact that 90% of american people experience acne and these non-westernized people don't was too astonishing to ignore
- eskimos in northern canada who integrated into canadian community and hence a canadian way of life INCLUDING FOOD, got acne when they never have had a problem with it before (and it wasn't a problem in their families!)
- basically no acne, add western types of food, acne appears ---> can't ignore such an observed correlation
- analyzed the differences in diet between these people and western people

Overall findings in a nutshell:

Westernized diet: high glycemic load
Non-westernized diet: low glycemic load

High glycemic load increases insulin resistance. EVERYONE has insulin resistance to SOME extent, but extreme forms are basically what you know as diabetes.

Increased insulin resistance ---> increase insulin hormone production ---> stimulates androgen production ---> stimulates oil production in skin ----> leads to clogged poors ----> acne bacteria feeds and develops the clogged pores into pimples

That is the base of the theory, there is a bit more I found out, but knowing that alone was enough to clear most of my acne, but not all. I am testing waters to find more relations.

thanks man. weather could be a part of it though. I get it bad in summer and its good in winter. Diet does help me too.

We are designed to plow out sperm every 3-4-5 days. Why? We are designed to fertilize a females egg. Out of a female cycle you have about 1 day to get the chick pregnant. When you blow inside a chick, the sperm will be in her for 3-5 days before they die. In order to keep the population going we need to keep filling up chicks every 3-5 days in order to get them pregnant.

Also another fear of giving up masturbation is blue balls, and prostate cancer. Masturbation has been shown to greatly reduce BOTH these problems.

As well, I've tried this and it didn't motivate me anymore than usual(You're probably having a placebo effect). And it sure as hell didn't make me horny, in fact it made me less horny and more numb. When I was jerking off once a day, I'd be waking up in the morning with an erection and getting them when seeing a hot chick on tv. Than I stopped masturbating, I had no more morning erections. I stopped getting spontaneous erections all together. And by the time I decided to jerk it again, it took a lot of porn to get me an erection.

I just looked at some fotos from 4 years ago - holy **** did I have some acne. It wasn't bad, but it was horrible comparing to what my face looks like now.

here is how I solved it:

acne.org BP gel - applying twice a day (been doing this for about 2 years - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, although stains some clothes)
Tanning once in awhile - when your face is darker it looks great.

However, I've been noticing that my back and my shoulders now get acne and I don't know WTF is that about. lifting? diet? it wasnt happening before!

I would be interested in your idea as to what foods we should stay away from. please post



John - it is true that u get blue balls when not mastrubating and I hate that. After a week it plain hurts almost all the time. However, after 2-3 weeks that goes away, and YES you do become more horny when you see girls. your standards do drop and you consider ****ing a lot of unsavory girls. and to tilltheend- i think ur dead on! The stomach and the brain are the 2 most closely related organs in the body. Depending on ur mood ul eat different things, and it works backwards to. When u eat salty, hard to digest (unnatural type foods, as in cookies or french fries) it ups your bodies stress level especially internally. The body was ment to digest mostly vegetables and all natural foods so it shudnt be a surprise that eating fast, packaged, unnatural, and perserved foods causes damage to your body resulting in acne.

and back to the no baiting thing. first off, im agnostic, **** sinning bs. and i highly doubt its a placebo effect, most of the **** im doin i didnt expect to happen at all, i just stoped cause i didnt like the idea that i "HAD" to bait and that i cudnt control it. so i decided i want to control my **** instead of it controlling me.

also about the lowering standerds thing. Its pretty true especially at first, but at the same time the 8/9/10s seem less magical. all women just slightly blur together in looks so its not so bad cause the fact that the hotter women are easier to approach balances your lack of standerds (personally i havent actually done anything with a low-end chick but the resistance to them is def less)

I have read the research article related to prostate cancer and masturbation frequency. It was true that rates of prostate cancer were lower among those who masturbated some X number of times per month. However, the numbers were "statistically insignificant". In other words, the study did not conclusive show in ANY way that the two are related.

Read the ACTUAL RESEARCH ARTICLE. The medical journal. Not bullsh1t "news reports". They do not understand the technical stuff and tend to make inaccurate interpretations of the scientific facts at hand.

Here is an article:

"The findings, published in the April 7 issue of The Journal of the American Medical Association, are based on data collected from nearly 30,000 predominately white men aged 46 to 81."

They mostly looked at ONE race only. Extremely biased. It is know fact that different races tend to suffer from different types of ailments. It's not the food or whatever. Their genes protect them against certain risks while doing the opposite for other risks.


"Researchers found most categories of ejaculation frequency were unrelated to prostate cancer risk."

That pretty much sums up the main gist of the study.

"But when they looked at men in the highest category of ejaculation frequency, they found evidence of a protective effect."

You cannot generalize an ENTIRE population of men based on some subcategory of a research study done on a subcategory of ethnic backgrounds.

i think the only reason there is an argument over this is because people are in denial. they know stoping will be hard so they go the easy route and to prevent themselves from feeling like **** they say "its good for u" "animals masterbate!" when in reality these excuses have holes all over them.

I have tried the raw food diet.

I strongly believe the reason they found good results with the raw food diet isn't because they are eating raw food. It is because of the type of food the raw food diet eliminates. Refined carbs. In other words, foods with really HIGH glycemic load. Cookies, patatoe chips, breads, etc. Those are not raw foods, so they get left behind...however, it is the fact you're not eating these high glycemic load foods that is giving you the benefit...not the raw food itself.

As far as meat goes, I don't see a link personally. I enjoy eating quite a bit of meat without any noticeable acne breakouts. I guess it is possible with all the hormones/drugs some animals are injected with...but still highly unlikely.

I can give you some examples that maybe you wouldn't think of. First is fruit juices. Even the "healthy" ones. Yes it is "healthy", but the problem lies in the fact that you are concentrating the fruit sugar when you drink just juice.

Nature gives us this wonderful way of mediating fruit sugar so we don't get high insulin resistance by eating a lot of it. It's called fiber. Juice is void of fiber and you're basically drinking sugar-water with vitamins. The vitamins are good, the sugar-water is bad. Even pure fruit juice is still bad, but the sweetened ones are terrible. Stick to whole fruit and you'll be fine and still enjoy fruit.

MOST fruits are fine, but minimize fruits like dates, figs, bananas. They have a really high glycemic load when compared to 90% of the fruits out there.

MOST vegetables are fine, but minimize root vegetables tubers/potatoes, carrots, parsnips, etc. They tend to have the highest GL.

Some obvious ones to avoid: cookies, most breads/bagels, chips, ALL candy, pop, most cereal and the list goes on.

There is honestly too much to go through and there are always compromises. For example with pizza: try thin crust pizza and don't eat the edges. You will cut out tons of carbs this way and make the effective glycemic load much smaller.

Look up "glycemic load" in google. You can find big charts listing various foods and you can see which are bad. You want to avoid foods with high glycemic load (that is glycemic LOAD and NOT glycemic index). A good rule of thumb is try to stick to foods that don't have a GL that is much higher than fruits.

Or you can look at the "allowed" foods to make it easier: meat, fish, eggs, nuts, seeds, butters/oils, fruits (with some exceptions), vegetables (with some exceptions), rolled oat rye breads (high fiber, not too many carbs). That is an excellent starting point.

I know it may seem overwhelming at first and it was to me. But now I am experienced with it and can immediately tell whether to avoid a food or not or if I should eat it in some moderation.

Yes, Working out(lifting weights) requires you to use your testosterone. So after a workout, you're depleted. That's why you don't workout for more than 45-60mins because you're basically out of testosterone. Your testosterone levels will rebuild, while you sleep, so you're at a peak in the morning.

@ Lower testo after working out- hmmm il believe u on this one and now that i think about it i am definitly alot less aggresive right after a workout. i thought i was just tired or something, but it might be cause of the lack of testo, interesting.

@ cancer reducing- if you guys are so scared of prostate cancer, then have alot of sex. if u cant use it as another motivation to increase your game :D.

listen guys, were getting a little off topic here, this entire site is about getting girls, and the chances of you getting more girls definitly increases when you stop baiting for the reasons i listed in the opening. instead of bickering about it

I have cut down from masturbating like 3 times a day every day 4 years ago to now once a week and I can tell you there are no drawbacks whatsoever. After a while its easy to not. Just dont even touch yourself at all, find something better to do. I have seen increased confidence, strength and aggression is all parts of my life. In regards to acne, its all about the load on your liver, I would say eat cleaner, less dairy, maybe do a cleanse, drink lots of water and stop masturbating.


Masturbating frequently does cause acne. A part of acne is toxicity (mostly your diet) and the other part is hormones. Both impact your liver. When you ejaculate, you release a lot of hormones that your liver must process, when the liver is already burdened with toxicity it will dump the crap through ur skin, causing acne. Wanna do an experiment? Try this ejaculate one day, then do heavy deadlifts or squats (3-5 rep maxes). The lowering of hormones from ejaculating and the immense surge of GH and testosterone from the workout will likely overload your liver causing you to break out. Deads and squats can be beneficial though after about 2-3 days after ejaculation when your test levels are already high, hope your doing them anways.

actually there has been a study on sex and baiting and its found that the determental effects from baiting aren't present AT ALLL when u do real sex (cant find it but its out ther somewhere and has been mentioned on this board b4)

Weak_game also suggested that sex and baiting have totally different hormonal responces when he said that in sex u gain 33% testo and in baiting u gain NOTHING

and the whole purpose of not baiting is so u can increase ur chances of getting sex by increasing ur confidence etc..

so baiting=no sex= HELL YES!

P.S. sex actually has alot of beneficial side effects to, theres been a study on it that says it increases lifespan by reducing stress and all sorts of other bad stuff for u :D, plus its good exercise lol

It would seem to me, that sex would be different mainly for the fact that somebody else is causing the sensation. There is (hopefully) a woman present, and that alone causes an increase in testosterone.

Something else I noticed. I go through little "spurts" where i'll do it every day for about 4 or 5 days. During that time, I break out pretty bad. When I stop, my acne seems to fade.
