Agreed. Good for Ukraine for defending its territory against an invasion.Being territorial is a good behavior. I don't know why we're even arguing this.

Ukraine was invaded a long time ago.Agreed. Good for Ukraine for defending its territory against an invasion.
We're talking about what's happening right now.Ukraine was invaded a long time ago.
Ukraine it's NOT energy rich. It's a net importer of energy resources. They have been getting Russian oil and gas at huge discounts for two decades. It's an "inconvenient" fact that is largely being ignored because it doesn't fit the "Russia bad" narrative, but Russia has been subsidizing the Ukrainian economy for a very long time. The conflict is Ukraine is not nearly as one-sided and black and white as the media would have you believe. It's a result of geopolitical developments that go back years or even decades.Fair point, to what extent should a country be surrounded by weapons. However I don't think that's why Comrade Vlad went into Ukraine. Ukraine is energy-rich. All wars are about resources. We need more open trade, and fewer nutcases and corporate oligarchs running things, IMO.
I didn't know that about the energy. But I'm sure nobody's forcing Russia to subsidize Ukraine's energy.Ukraine it's NOT energy rich. It's a net importer of energy resources. In a word: NATO.So let's hear the other side of the story. Why did Russia feel justified to launch an invasion?
Will give a read. Thanks. In a word: NATO.
This is a pretty good explanation of what led to the Russia-Ukraine war.
Just before Russian invasion, University of Chicago political scientist John J. Mearsheimer blamed West for Ukraine crisis
Clashes in Kyiv in 2014 led to the ouster of Ukraine's pro-Russian president, sowing the seeds for the 2022 Russian invasion of the country.www.straight.com
Based on how poorly his forces have performed in Ukraine and the ineptitude of their strategy, Putin should just be happy with getting out of there with a win and not worrying about attacking vastly more competent forces like the US.How many countries should we give to Putin?
I think it's more than clear ,that a war between any superpower would not be conventional.Based on how poorly his forces have performed in Ukraine and the ineptitude of their strategy, Putin should just be happy with getting out of there with a win and not worrying about attacking vastly more competent forces like the US.
That win is going to be far more costly than he ever imagined, both in terms of economic costs due to sanctions and via allowing the rest of the world to see how incompetent Russian military commanders are.
Ukraine didnt chose the West... The West chose Ukraine.Because Ukraine chose the West, they deserve to be invaded? Insane.
What source do you have for this? You realise they banned all Russian media and have been using a massive amount of anti russian propoganda. Remember the Ghost of Kiev myth? Or the whole snake island thing which turned out to be false with none of them being killed?Based on how poorly his forces have performed in Ukraine and the ineptitude of their strategy, Putin should just be happy with getting out of there with a win and not worrying about attacking vastly more competent forces like the US.

Cool. Russia invaded a weaker country, caused a ton of senseless deaths, burned bridges with the entire developed world, and wrecked their own economy to do so. Congratulations. The reality is, Russia is actually winning the war and Ukraine is ready to negotiate for peace.
Russians never send their réal army in thé first place. What source do you have for this? You realise they banned all Russian media and have been using a massive amount of anti russian propoganda. How is Sleepy Joe responsible for Russia invading Ukraine? All I know is that there is two sides of a story and I'm not taking any sides because both are shiete.
Sleepy Joe is a warhawk too for example: https://www.huffpost.com/entry/bidens-hawkish-record_b_214873 find more yourself here if you like: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=biden+warhawk&t=brave&ia=web and Vladimir Putana is real a$$hat too.
Didn't america go into trillions of debt for invading iraq and afghanistan?Cool. Russia invaded a weaker country, caused a ton of senseless deaths, burned bridges with the entire developed world, and wrecked their own economy to do so. Congratulations.
USA built and funded Saddam Hussain's army in the 80tes (To counter weight the loss of Iran and the Iran/Iraq war) and then later did the exactly same with the afghan warriors (The Taliban to counterweight Soviets' invasion of the latter), that then later became ISIS. The irony is to laugh, die and cry for on the same time.invading iraq and afghanistan?
They were already in trillions of national debt back then, they just printed more money, just like Sleepy Joe does now. USA has been technically bankrupt for many years by now and he only reason they do not default is because the US dollar is the world reserve currency.Didn't america go into trillions of debt
How’s the Ruble doing?Didn't america go into trillions of debt for invading iraq and afghanistan?
Wrong.USA has been technically bankrupt for many years by now and he only reason they do not default is because the US dollar is the world reserve currency.
Once the saudis drop the dollar and adopt the Yuan, you're about to eating your words. The US dollar is artificially propped up by the Saudi Petrol sales. How’s the Ruble doing?
It's also thanks to them we had the massive refugee crisis in Europe. America destabilised north africa and the middle east and left Europe to clean up It's mess.USA built and founded Saddam Hussain's army in the 80tes (To counter weight the loss of Iran and the Iran/Iraq war) and then later did the exactly same with the afghan warriors (The Taliban to counterweight Soviets' invasion of the latter) )that then later became ISIS. The irony is to laugh and cry for.
Which will end when the Saudis drop the dollar this year. The balance if power is shifting. They were already in trillions of national debt back then, they just printed more money, just like Sleepy Joe does now. USA has been technically bankrupt for many years by now and he only reason they do not
Well from what I read/heard is that Hillary Clinton had this bright idea to remove Libya's Muammar Gaddafi from power (the reason behind this is access to/control over Libya's oil I guess?), which ironically had made a deal with EU to patrol the Mediterranean Sea to stop all refuges to ever reach Europe (EU was paying him/Libya for that), and once Hillary executed her brilliant plan we got flooded here in Europe because there was no longer anyone to stop them. Instead we had the Arabian spring which pretty much went to south for everyone in the end and didn't change much in the middle east countries. But oh boy how it did change for us in EU with the massive flood of illegal immigrants. It's also thanks to them we had the massive refugee crisis in Europe
