Astrology played a central role in the pagan religion of ancient Babylon. Daniel, the imprisoned Jew, was able to interpret King Nebuchadnezzar's dream after all of his court's astrologists and magicians told him the request was impossible. The Old Testament does that a lot, trash competing religions. Like early Christians, the earliest monotheists were also a minority. Astrology is probably central to most ancient world religions. I'm sure the Bible has been influenced that way as well. The story of Jesus being born under the Star of Bethlehem may have been an early attempt to convert non-Christians who got their spirituality from the stars.

I don't believe zodiac signs are the gospel but they do have some truth to it, the traits people have match what you zodiac sign claims you have. I'm a cancer guy, air sign women we are best as just friends I find them too detached, fire sign women just friends Aries and I butt heads, sag women too moody, Leo's are the only fire women that catch my attention. I like Taurus women I could be in a relationship with one, Capricorn's I find too dull, just friends, Virgo's too controlling and moody, not interested in them. Water sign women I do get along with Scorpio women, they are a lot of work to be in a relationship with you really have to get used to their possessiveness. I could be in a relationship with a pisces, they do have some quirks you would have to get used to, not sure if a relationship between two cancers would last.
