YOUR type of HUMOR: If it doesn't MATCH hers.

I've noticed a strange thing on first dates: if you start
to joke around, and she just doesn't "GET IT", you
might be in for a long tour.


Personally, I like CONCEPTUAL humor. You know, creating
hysterical scenarios based on ridiculous situations (the
monty python variety).

Other types:
1. Jokes.....you know, the person who always has the latest.
2. Stories......natural story tellers are hard to find.
3. Word Play: "his last name is brown. He must be un BEAR able.
4. Irony. YOu know this.
5. Sophomoric: Adam Sandler movies
6. Violent: Somebody gets run over by a tank in the movies.
7. Teasing: "I'll be you drive a Hyundai"

Anyways, I've found that if I start kidding around and it'
doesn't "work", we're just going to connect very well.

Makes it harder for me, cause I only find conceptual/teasing/
or sophomoric to be very interesting,,,and they usually
HATE sophomoric and don't "get" conceptual. I have
to hunt harder.

I enjoy conceptual as well. I don't know how rare the storyteller really is since I'm definitely one.

Really, if you don't click with a girl then what's the point? At the simplest level of creating any sort of relationship with someone there has to be some sort of connection and sense of humor is one of the key ones, in my opinion, if you're looking for a GIRLFRIEND. If she doesn't laugh at my jokes, goodbye. I don't stop cracking them when I get in the mood.

Almost all of my humour is purely situational.

Which is to say that, basically, if I was alone in a room with a chick who didn't get my humour and didn't give me too much to play off of, I'd be cooked.

It's easiest for me to get my humour going when there's other people around or at events, anything where things are going on. Once I have some background stuff I'm off to the races.
