Your thoughts on wife material

I was talking with a long time friend the other day about what makes a woman wife material. Not that either one of us are thinking about marriage now but one thing we agreed was towards the top of that list was being able to enjoy her company for x amount of hours a day for x amount of years. Because you can only have sex for so many hours a day.

What are some of the things that you guys consider wife material?
How do you guys qualify women for those characteristics ?

-How caring/giving she is.
-How supportive she is.
-How easy she is to deal with.
-How rational/emotional she is.
-Does she defer to you?
-She needs to think the world of you.
-Family upbringing needs to be solid.
-If she has always been attractive/kept her body in good condition.
-She must be financially responsible.

I liked my friend's simple acronym that he used to find his wife:

ACE: Attractive. Christian. Emotionally stable.

Obviously, finding wifey in this dating era is a lot more complicated than a simple ACE. Yet it's a good starting place if your Christian. If you're not Christian you could probably swap the C with V for values.

3) Loves/d her father more than anyone.
4) Has/d a father who was an honest businessman.

I met exactly one girl like this and I still wouldn't marry her.

My exwife was all of those items except #22. We met in high school and lasted 15yrs.

I've been with 50+ women since and although I wasn't screening for a wife, there were none I felt I could have married. Perhaps 5 of them would have been "decent" choices, but most women just don't offer much more than a warm hole and a few have nice bodies!

There are a TON of Christian women that are selfish and self centered.

I would recommend looking for a kind and generous woman. If she's generous to others, she will be generous to you.
