I kinda dont like my looks on video cameras or on some photographs. but in real life i get alotta female attention and keep hearing how good i look. now after usuing a videocam to video my face all round i found out that maybe im not as goodlooking as i thought lol, i duno its strange i dont like my looks from a side angle but i still get female attentionand and in some cases on three occassion been approach by females. how do you know how the real you looks like. some people look good on pictures while some dont this is some kinda mystery to me. anyone else understands what this means? or has anyone else noticed anything similar? i dont get it? why have i been attracting women in most cases beautiful women .if i dont look good on a videocam?

Maybe you give off a certain vibe that attracts females. You don't have to be great looking for that.

When you look at yourself you notice all the bad traits, but when someone else looks at you they notice all the good traits.

I don't think you'll ever really be able to know how to look to other people. If you're getting chicks then just trust that what other people see is good and keep doin what you're doin, i guess.

actually it doesn't work this way:

when you look at yourself, you are used to it, so you concentrate on the details and you notice the little imperfections that are barely visible.
if a girl looks at you for the first time, she immediately thinks about whether you are good-looking or not:

1. if you are good-looking, she just concentrate on the good traits and doesn't see your ugly traits for the first 3-4 times she sees you. then she starts to notice, but she doesn't care, because she's used to think that you're handsome

2. if you don't look good to her, she stops watching at you, so she doesn't see the ugly traits... that's why even girls that don't like you don't say stuff about your little ugly imperfections

The "real you" is what everybody sees. Some people are photogenic, some people aren't. It's not like your picture is the one walking around picking up girls (unless you're looking for female companionship exclusively over the internet), so it shouldn't make any difference what you look like in a video or photograph. Sounds to me like you're doing fine on your own - stop worrying about little things like how you look in a picture and focus more on keeping your appearances up in real life.

i'm not photogenic

girls say i am good looking, but i don't see it that often, i think i must have a preculiar look or something.

i also smile a lot, but when i smile for a photo, it seems to make my nose look big! but in real life you wouldn't notice.

yea im photogenic either, so i hate taking pics...But i look good outside of pics.

I am exactly the same. Girls tell me I look good and give me attention (well-at least when they are drunk ) but I hate nearly all pictures of me. That's not only my personal subjective view - other people don't think my pictures look good too. It's not that bad for me, however it would be good to have a few nice pictures for the internet etc.

Same here i look good in most pics but when it comes for the camera lol i fear myself..........

Im sure its just the fact that u never get to see ur absolute side of the face, but then again, who cares what someone looks like from the side as the front is the important aspect and gives out our eyes. I remember seeing this girl from the side once HB10, and she turns around and i immediately recanted. Gave her a 5 evenually

Additionally, lots of video cameras lack lighting which makes a HUGE difference,

Cameras are extremely accurate I find....but it depends on the focus.....put ur face near the lens and ull be 100 pounds heavier.........4f is a nice and accurate distance, just dont hide ur face
