"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Have you notice that most of the Pook praiser are still on this site (b/c they are still an AFC?) while the people that dismiss Pook are gone (b/c they have become a true Don Juan?) .

My favorite poster is Senor Fingers.
Finally some people who make sense about Pook. I was always confused why some people loved him so much. I've desrcribed his posts as an unnecessarily long and melodramatic run around the main point....which are often very simple and do not need the 5 pages he uses to explain them.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

That's just his writing style. He's a very descriptive writer, and very talented. You can tell it's kinda like art to him...and he put a lot into his posts. His tips are VERY good...but to those with a short attention span or who just are too restless or impatient to follow the long posts, his points tend to get lost. You have to be someone who either enjoys his writing style or can at least follow it patiently to get much out of his posts.

I've read a few of his posts in full to give him a fair chance. I found them to just be a fancy rehash of what goes around on this forum, advice in the DJB, and advice in many articles available all over the internet. He does not say anything that you can't find in the above mentioned resources, hence, they are NOT "his" tips. Why does he constantly get credit for simple concepts that you can find on practically any self-improvement resource?

His writing style is not original either. That, like his advice is also rehashed. There is not a single unique bone in his body. Just apparently the Pook-lovers/followers on here are not well-read or well-cultured enough to see this.

What am I talking about you say? Allow me to elaborate:

*poof*

In a ball of black smoke the masked man known as TillTheEndOfTime enters, along with one of his followers. With fires matching the fury of hell, TillTheEndOfTime disperses the shadows covering the Sacred Book.

"What is this Sacred Book?" the confused follower asks.
"Ah ha!, seek and ye shall find young one."

The follower picks up the Sacred Book. He dusts off the cover to reveal the identity of this Sacred Book. At this point he can only read the Author's name....it says....."Pook".

The follower takes off some more dust to reveal the title of this Sacred Book. It says: "The Holy Bible".

Director: "Alright, alright that's the cut! Lights on please!"

Pook's writing style is straight from The Holy Bible. Don't any of you know about the Gospels? Have not any of you seen the writing style used to describe the story of Jesus and how he taught his disciples? If not, read the Gosepls in the Bible.

You will find that Pook did nothing but rehash the writing style in these stories in the Bible.

Sorry I had to break this to you Pook-lovers.

they are his tips though (at least this forum's) considering the fact that Pook was an original 2000 member. Be a Man and Kill that Desparation were made around the same time.

To his writing style, maybe that is why i enjoyed his writing style so much. I like to read the bible.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Well, that may be so but these ideas were around before 2000. They were around before this site was made. Him being here at the grand opening of this forum and posting those tips is not proof they are his...just proof that he knew about them from some place and just so happened to be one of the original members here to post first about them.

That's good you read the Bible. I got nothing against it or Pook. Just saying that Pook's writing style is taken from there. It's not his. He should not get credit for it.

how could I have forgot those wonderful people

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Exactly Miss, you'r right!!!!

I think I learned much of Pook, than those desperate threads on the frontpage. Also I like the tips archive. It's a real pity Pook left the forum.

Props to Senor Fingers, Allen Thompson, Anti-Dump, Adonis & David d'Angelo.

BBB and Fingz definitely. I didn't really know CHALENGE GUY, but his tips are amazing. The same goes for The Writer.
